First off Mark Sineglais is one of the worst, if not the worst sports reporter of all time...

He was most likely badgering coach king with a bunch of questions beating around the bush about playing a weak nonconference schedule and I can see Coach King just having enough and throwing him that look while saying "Well I dont want to play springfield....  " the 6'6'' lurch looking mofo probably pooped in his already soiled pants.

Here's an interesting read for all you RPI guys. I know that you all have expressed your dissatisfaction with who RPI schedules Out of Conference, but this is what your boy Kinger has to say.......

"I'm not looking to play Springfield or something like that, if that's what you're asking me," said King, alluding to Union opening against ninth-ranked Springfield on Saturday night.

That is a pretty interesting quote though......

I watched a lot of the 2nd half and the bottom line is, Springfield, atleast at this point in the year, is a much better squad than Union.  They looked faster, and more prepared, and just more talented. 


Bitching about the broadcast is just flat out retarded.  I thought they did fine and the picture looked great. 

Here's the catch...If anyone can get ahead of Springfield early, they could be in deep doo doo.  If Springfield mops up the first half on everyone, they could run deep into the playoffs.

Hobart on the other hand, that's just kind of embarrassing.  it pisses me off as a Liberty League fan that they dropped the ball on this one to a nobody.  Sucks for league credibility.  Springfield is one thing, Dickinson is a a much different thing.

Gro agrees with AJ... Kinger was probably steaming inside thinking fine, you want me to tell you that springfield is better than endicott... here you go.

Before the endicott/utica series came about RPI had some better non conference games. Hartwick and SJF, Kean a few times, Plymouth State before they went into the crapper. Coast Guard when they were good.
