Bman suggests that anyone involved in the Navy discussion, actually attend an Army Navy game....3 years ago, the Midshipmen were pelting the Army guys with snowballs while they marched on the field in formation, (appropriate it was in Philly) and they began chanting "watch our bowl game" so loud it drowned out the Army fight song...classic!

I wouldn't be so sure these guys are so innocent either....

They openly mock each other on video and audio all game long as well...there just isn't any(much) profanity....

When U of D went into Annopolis and beat Navy a few years back, I heard all kinds of horror stories of the Delaware fans getting abused....

Keep this real....students will be students, but it is up to Schiano and the University to eliminate this behavior...they better start dealing with this now that they are getting national TV coverage, before it gives them a black eye...

they are a bunch of classless punks...pbr works w/ a ton of ru grads who have season tickets and sent out a seething email to them all calling them all out if they participated ...JT excellent suggestions!!! pbr doesnt even have a problem w/ academies taunting each other as they are the ones on the front lines in 6 months defending our arses....kids will be kids and students will be students is NOT an excuse especially for the fine men and women of our service academies...is there always a few jerks drunk out of their skulls absolutely...but when a whole student section chimes in schiano and the AD need to step in and put an immediate stop to it. period.

Let's not compare Army/Navy with Navy/Rutgers.  And Superman...I'd admit I was wrong if I indeed felt I was wrong.  I'M NOT IN THIS CASE, especially since you've failed to address my points concerning turning "F- Navy" chants into "Go Rutgers" chants for the same effect.  Thanks for the suggestion, though.

KS - I can appreciate your point of view.  My thought, though, is that while our men and women in uniform may not expect a step up in terms of treatment, we owe them one for putting their lives on the line to protect our way of life and freedom.  There's no better day than 9/11 to grasp that reality, and that's why I think Rutgers fans who did such chanting are slime.

as I stated before the F navy chants were uncalled for... and inappropiate and yes they could be changed into lets go rutgers... but from experiance at fisher in the cardinal crazies chants usually get started by one or two people and lots of other people try to get people to stop those stupid chants...my issue here with u is not the use curse words...but the fact that you think army and navy should be immune to any chants towards them
