You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

U89 would respectfully request that the RPI fans please keep it clean up on the hill at Shoozapalooza III.

This means no donkey punching the Union undergrad coed's by LD...

Last time I was there I dropped the 'C' word on some chick....Reg, you remember that?  I actually felt bad when her jaw bounced off the ground and she almost cried...That's what she gets for being an idiot I suppose.

I remember that 1.....LD, a trade has been offered to, 'Smell My Thumb'...

Marion Barber for Randy Moss??  Seriously dude?  Have you noticed that I have Willie Parker, Reggie Bush, Adrian Peterson and Michael Turner?  In a 2 RB/1W/R league, sorry man........

I'll give you Bernard Berrian for him though.

I have to say I was very moved when they said that everett will walk again...it truly is a miracle... now heres hoping we can say the same for Julio Fuentes of Alfred

In the event LLPPers haven't stepped foot on the E8 board....somewhat of an update on Julio from Pep:

Pep pastes in previous post.....

Just read a piece on Julio Fuentes in the Olean Times Herald's Football Preview. Fuentes is the starting Alfred tailback who in the Saxons' 2006 opener suffered a paralyzing spinal injury. Following several months in Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, he was admitted at the Shepherd Clinic in Atlanta where he underwent several months of rehab. He's now back home in Olean, NY, continuing his rehab. He says the support he has received has impacted his daily life.

Quoting the article here:

Fuentes says he never wonders, 'Why me," and on the rare days he feels a bit down, "I pray, though probably not as much as I should."

Still he admits, "I feel better every day and can see the improvement... hopefully, eventually, I'll come all the way back."

Meanwhile, Fuentes, who's always been chided for being vertically challenged, hastn't lost his sense of humor.

"I played football at 5-2," he said. "But since they took out a vertebrae, I think I'm only 5-1 1/2."

As for the future, Fuentes has a plan.

"We've put in for a van to help get me around," he said. "Then, I want to go back to school (at Alfred). I'm not going to go this fall, it's too soon.

"But I would like to return in the spring. I wouldn't be able to live on my own, I'd need an aide, but that would be available to me."

And when he goes back as a first-semester sophomore, Fuentes will have a different major.

"I was in business," he said of his freshman year, "But after this experience, I'd like to change it to counseling.

"I think I have something to share and give back to people."

Hey, Greenie, what are you staring at?

And that's why there were only a couple of on-camera shots of John and RT on Saturday night.

If anyone tells you they are from Boston, and then adds that they are actually from Newton, please feel free to punch them in the face or head area....

So Reg and I didn't give a roundup of the Sox game at Camden yards...2 ball chafing incidents stand out...

One I won't mention is how a group of sorority chicks sitting in front of us from South Boston, not lacking in back fat were about to toss Regulator into the field for telling one if them to 'Sit Down!!!' then commenting rather loudly that 'That was probably the most excercise she's had in months'...but I won't mention that one...

Good times Reg...Always good times....

Yeah Regs favorite part of Regs incident is when the sister directly in front of Reg heard me say that and tried to get in my face about my comment and Reg wouldn't even give her the time of day...
Girl- "you cannot say that" That is so mean"
Reg "Stop talking, turn around" <while mowing down on his peanuts>
Girl- "You better.."
Reg- "Stop talking and watch the game" "Stop talking I don't care"<Mowing more peanuts>
Girl <flaming mad at this point>

A minute later and they take a group picture, where Reg holds a beer over the chicks head pretending to pour it on her.  So they look at the picture and see what Reg did (basically ruined their "See we are real fans" picture) so they passed the camera around to each of the 20 girls there who probably wanted to beat Reg silly....

Good times.

Rutgers apologizes and admonishes students

Well I've read all the responses to my Rutgers post.

KS - People in the military or at the academies can have their back and forth at football games.  They defend this country and both tend to respect each other after the game is over.

57 - One can root for Rutgers without acting like a-holes.  Sorry but there is a respect due an athlete that will serve his country.  Especially from a group that benefits from their service (no draft).

I hope the Rutgers players will stand with Army at the end of the game when West Point plays their anthem.  Only one school does that currently.... Notre Dame.

Actually any student athlete deserves a certain respect.  JT really started respecting Rowan opponents more once he was on the field.  Guys popping body parts back in place and going back on the field.  Incredible plays.  The hard work and effort is more apparent the closer one gets to the action.

+k.  JT was at the Dennis Byrd Jet game in 1994.  JT knew the minute he saw the play.  It made him sick.  I hope Julio continues to improve.

JT likes it when honesty is dropped on "fans" who aren't really into the game. +k
