REG: What do the MLs mojitos cost at Camden Yards?  You mention sucking down peanuts and clearly not giving this chubby the time of day, but no mention of how many brews tequizas deep you and LD were...

Oh Gro.  you are so cute!  Reg, WTFF, and I drank about 24 beers on Reg's boat during the day, then slammed another 5 or 6 a piece at the game.  Drafts were going for $5 and Bottles for 6.  Beer guy finally decided to show up around the 6th inning.  It was rather retarded, so we had to wait in line for 15 minutes every time we wanted a beer.

Hey fellas,

Check out a new site that a bunch of us rabid Johnnies started a couple weeks ago.  I know RT will recognize a couple of the characters.

RE: Newton, Ma

If anyone tells you they are from Boston, and then adds that they are actually from Newton, please feel free to punch them in the face or head area....

Rolevio is guessing you wouldn't get along too well on the Union campus, alot of them there.

Actually one of the reasons I didn't go there.  Not really because they were from Newton, but there were 3 or 4 kids from around me in Boston (Newton) that went there and when I visited the kids were absoute toolsheds.....

Ha, the beauty of the site is in the collaboration of many.  Everybody has a role and knows it.  We are attempting to keep the content fresh, focused, and consistent.  Be sure to check out TDT's weekly Top Ten list (last week was Tailgating "Must-Haves").

JT: If you have advise or recommendations they would be much appreciated.  We have admired many sites around D3 including yours, Whitewater, MUCk, Linfield, Bridgewater, Cortland, etc.

You bring up a good point.  If I didn't get into Ithaca, Curry, Pine Manor and ITT Tech.....I probably would have had to go to Union.

Regulator

TDT-

#9 on your list goes into this crazy ramble about Charcoal grills
Charcoal Grills:  I can't emphasize this enough.  The difference between cooking with propane vs. charcoal is huge.  The flavors and smells mean football is in the air.  Be sure to have plenty of grill space and extra charcoal.  It is critical to be able to cook lots of food as fast as possible when the crowds get big.

Dude,
As much as Reg appreciates your love of old compressed wood, this isn't amature hour...Seriously, if Reg wanted to wait 45 minutes to get a grill ready and another 30 to grill a burger, which ironically is 4 car bombs and 6 miller lites in beer time, than he would much rather just crash someone elses party.  If you need to grill alot, quick, do yourself a favor and get a real, full sized grill there somehow.  Either that or pawn off the grilling on charcoal to the sober driver.

Knightstalker

For serious tailgating you need a combo of Gas and Charcoal.  You start the charcoal, then get the gas grill going and start cooking, you then transfer food to the charcoal to pickup the flavor.  Or grill on charcoal the day before and then bring to tailgate and heat with Gas.

KS loves food grilled over charcoal but the gas grill is better for tailgating.  Plus you don't have to worry about putting out the charcoal and disposing of coals.

Touchdown Tommy

REG,

TDT doesn't do the cooking.  He usually shows up with at least a dozen brats/buns to share.  The Godfather of the Stiftungsfestivities, Johnnie Red, brings a couple small Weber charcoal grills and a couple other MIAC posters (Veek and Retired Old Rat) bring portable propane rigs.  This year the SJU Alumni Association got involved (everyone wants a piece of the pie so to speak) and supplied a Porta-Potty, an 8 ft table, and a large cast iron grill for mass cooking with charcoal.  The point is that charcoal is preferred if time allows and you can drink beers in the meantime.  At the Stiftungsfestivities things usually get rolling about 8 or 9am for a 1pm start.  This allows for mass Kool-Aid consumption, Olde Johnnie Ale, Hamms, Coors Lights, etc. while the charcoal smolders and the crowd gets larger.  That is how we roll in the MIAC...

Graphically and asthetically JT's thinking rowanfootball.com is a little tired.  Gotta redesign the thing in the offseason.   Learn to adapt things that you like from other sites.  If you can get permission to use audio or video highlights put them up.  Make friends with the school paper's photographer.  Maybe he/she will share pics with your site.  If any of you guys have a good digital camera setup, see if you can get field access to take pics.

So Reg and I didn't give a roundup of the Sox game at Camden yards...2 ball chafing incidents stand out...

One I won't mention is how a group of sorority chicks sitting in front of us from South Boston, not lacking in back fat were about to toss Regulator into the field for telling one if them to 'Sit Down!!!' then commenting rather loudly that 'That was probably the most excercise she's had in months'...but I won't mention that one...

Good times Reg...Always good times....

Yeah Regs favorite part of Regs incident is when the sister directly in front of Reg heard me say that and tried to get in my face about my comment and Reg wouldn't even give her the time of day...
Girl- "you cannot say that" That is so mean"
Reg "Stop talking, turn around" <while mowing down on his peanuts>
Girl- "You better.."
Reg- "Stop talking and watch the game" "Stop talking I don't care"<Mowing more peanuts>
Girl <flaming mad at this point>

A minute later and they take a group picture, where Reg holds a beer over the chicks head pretending to pour it on her.  So they look at the picture and see what Reg did (basically ruined their "See we are real fans" picture) so they passed the camera around to each of the 20 girls there who probably wanted to beat Reg silly....

Good times.

pbr was waiting to hear reg say "stop talking and watch the game" while you were bouncing peanuts off her forehead....maybe even throw in a tell your elephant sister she can snort up the leftovers off the ground...
