I was wondering....

You see all these D1 teams warming up their schedule with 1-AA teams (Michigan/App St., BC/Umass, Northwestern/Northeastern) Do you think we will ever see the day where a legit 1-AA team could play a good d3 team early in the season?  And I mean like a Colgate/Hobart or a Cornell/Ithaca rather than that MACC league.  I think its time for d3 schools to actively seek out good 1-AA teams.  It should be good for the 1-AA teams as well with a win 99% of the time.  Then we (d3 fans) can celebrate an upset every once in a while.

Springfield/UMASS?

Exactly.

RPI/Prarie View? (more their speed)

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Rolevio

Rolevio went 2-6 in the early games as well.  Only got Houston and Green Bay.

This was a tough day to pick games though.

-I thought Buff would come around a little with such a big spread.

-Houston I cant picture being good (SF same thing)

-Cleveland?

-I just cant pick against Indy ever

-Now Oakland?

**We should have had someone make up a team and just flip a coin for each game and see how they do at the end.**

I've got one correct so far.  Guess it was the wrong weekend to go with the chalk.

-Cleveland?

Looking over the picks, Rolevio had Cleveland as scoring the least amount of points this week.  Oops.

KS had Cincy scoring the most and Cleveland scoring the least.

Alfred/Buffalo? (Oh wait, AU already leads in that series--that wouldn't be fair.)

Knightstalker

KS is up to 5 right with 14 games completed.  Next week KS is going to let the Stalkerette pick the games.

Unless something bad happens (westbrook fumbles 13 times) it looks like Yazz Flute moves to 2-0 in the LLPPSCFJFFL.  Nothing personal KS, just business.

As always, the post game party is at Tino's

Terrible day to pick NFL games, gro is 4-9-1 so far.

The Rev has 5 correct, 1 push and 8 incorrect picks so far. Poor showing.  Let's see how the last two games turn out.  The Rev's prediction? "Not good."

Next week The Rev is going to do what George Costanza did for a couple of episodes of Seinfeld: what ever my gut feeling is, I'll choose the opposite.

Either that, or the Rev is going to show pictures to a girl and ask her to choose which team based on who has the prettier uniforms or the cuter QB.  Hey, it can't be any worse than The Rev's current selections.

Today's Number: 2001

that's the last year that RPI beat Hobart... WTF? The Engineers have has some success since then (anyone remember 2003?) but a 5 game losing skid to any team is.... REDICULAS

PBR...

Hey Rev.,

Look forward to seeing you at Boswell field next week vs. RPI.  Carnegie Mellon ran the old Wishbone offense and looked really good.

However,  Carnegie Mellon was not able to match the Statesman's pass offense.

Next week will be a high scoring game.
I envy you lucky bastids who live in Upstate and can go to every game.  The Rev would have enjoyed seeing Hobart beat CMU.  Even on the radio, it was a nail biter.

P.S. The Rev won't envy you during the true winter months.  NY is better than AZ most of the time, but The Rev has turned into a and can no longer handle the Upstate NY winter weather.

Do you have a weather forecast for next weekend?

rev...forecast calls for high of 42 degrees and winds out of the northwest at 25 mph....(just kidding head ovah to weather.com for a quickie 4cast)
