U89 dont worry.  Chances are good that they even owe you more money than you got back.  I actually got my refund back today coinsedently (yep, Im going to leave that spelling up there)  I found out 2 years ago that you have up to three years to file your taxes if you are getting money back.  And I like getting my check around now so I wait and my taxguy actually likes it.

moral of the story...spend $500 on a tax lawyer.....

The Rev took a trip inside NORTH Korea in 2000.  He was interrogated one day for a book he had in his possession.
The North Koreans treated The Rev better than the American police treated this American kid.  

Disgusting.  America is not America anymore.  The Rev has been considering going overseas again.  This video just put another mark in the "Get the hell out while you still can" column.

Rev are you kidding?  This kid resisted an arrest after several attempts to escort him from the building.  If they didnt tazer him and they broke his wrist instead while trying to handcuff him, guess who is getting sued for the broken wrist?  The kid is fine now.

The kid was being a complete dou-che. He was there to make a scene and he did. Gro sees no difference between this kid and the youtube clip of the black lady who wouldn't get out of her car when pulled over.  If you're being escorted out by the cops (or security) arguing isn't going to get you anywhere but tazerland.  Like JU said, cops don't want to take a flailing elbow to the face, or have to deliver one (intentional or not).  The tazer isn't even option 2 anymore, it's like 1.5.  Gro's advice, don't mess with the police.

Secondly, who screams "help me!" like they are being kidnapped by colombian drug lords? The last time gro screamed like that he was 5 years old having a nightmare about vampires.  Finally, I'm guessing that tazers hurt (sarcasm they probably hurt like sh!t). But gro thinks this kid was overdoing it with the "ow ow, you're on my hair" antics.  Geez, they tazed Ponch and LaToya Jackson on that celebrity cops show and they were ok!

All I know is that my girlfriend has over 40 pairs of flip flops.  I will repeat....my insane girlfriend has over 40 pairs of dam flip flops.  And that means on every frickin trip we go on, she will ask me to buy a pair of flip flops with whatever theme represents that area.  Cape cod its seashells on the flip flops....Maine its little red lobsters on the flipflops.......Florida its oranges or manatees on the flip flops.....She even has her own dam trunk for the things.  A FRICKIN TRUNK!!  And its not some ordinary going to college trunk.  This is a trunk that makes the ark of the covenant look like a midgets handbag. And Im going to have to carry it down to the basement in a few weeks or so.  Fantastic.

Well let me throw this out there to LLPP......

So JU and his GF (JUGF) have been living together for a while now.  Now we get along pretty well and everything BUT....JU pays 100% of the mortgage/bills/utilities/everything.  Now I make 2-3X as much as her (3rd year teacher) so I dont really mind that too much.  But my question is this....

Do I have the right to do a little less housework (cooking/cleaning/laundry) because I contribute more (all) of the money?  And its not just the money really.  I work sometimes 10-40 extra hours a week (50-80 total hours including nights and weekends) to almost double my salary just to even be able to do that extra stuff.

Every time she yells at me to pick up a dish or plate that I leave out, I feel like saying "ok toots......We will start splitting the bills, and Im going to be able to afford a butler that will take care of that stuff ok?" (that would not go well by the way)

But seriously...how do I win here?

JU's question goes under the assumption that everyone knows JUGF is insane (and that LLPP knows obviously that ALL women are insane....[move]

Don't see a winning strategy here. Between this & the shoes problem, you don't even have a shot at negotiations.

Gro- Reg completely agrees....if you want to make a big deal about something, then be prepared to suffer the consequences.

Secondly, when there are 200 people looking at you being escorted by security, don't be a herb and ask "does anyone see this"....dood, everyone sees it, noone really gives a squirrel nut.

As far as him screaming like a little girl, dude, you knew this was coming.....just be lucky they tazered you rather than pepper spraying you.  At least it was over in 5 seconds rather than 10 mins.

and P.S.  Mount Union is really just about the only thing in Alliance...though Superman wishes he had spent the night he would have liked to drive over to the Football Hall of Fame...as the football hall of fame is the only of the big 4 that superman has not done

you know what tags?  Ive been to a crapload of sox games this year and the bottom line is.....their lineup sucks.  From 6-9 they are horrible.  Varitek, Drew, Lugo, Crisp, Hinske and the other backups are horrible.  In 2004 when they won it, the 8th and 9th hitters batted around .300.  The frickin batting champ Miller was usually 8th for crying out loud!  

Just for getting JD drew and Lugo the sox do not deserve to win anything.  The pitching might get it done for them but good pitching in the playoffs will completly shut down the sox after Lowell..........

I agree with you about the lineup - Drew is so overrated it's not funny, and he has been since he came out of FSU. Not sure why they won't take the pacifier out of Manny's  mouth and make him at least DH. That at least puts another solid bat in the lineup. And it looks like Youk and Crisp sat tonight. I'm not sure if Francona got the message but the yanks are within 2.5 and are beating the snot out of people.

The real deal is that you have a 2-1 lead in the 8th... you've got to be able to close the door at this point in the season.
