Gro,
You weren't impressed with Rowan today.  Well consume all of this!  Today we played on your feild, in conditions that would side for Union, without our all-american QB, all-american D-lineman and without our starting Tailback for most of the game.  If this game were played on a nuetral site with all of our players, the game would be a blowout by the first half.

You're proving our points concerning the suspect level of student that passes through the gates of Rowan.  Every team has its share of dings by Week 12.  For all the folks who have considered what I've done in the past as making excuses for Union's sometimes questionable play midseason this year, I've now read three different Rowan fans' postings in which they make excuses for why Rowan didn't win by more.  No offense, but Rowan has played rocky football by Rowan standards all season, with or without the three players mentioned.  On a neutral, clear field, I think Union actually would have had a better chance to win and/or come back in the second half.  However, I won't blame the weather and Union's own share of dings for their loss.  I'll just say that a good game was played in Schenectady, and Union proved themselves strong.  You want to say otherwise, I'll be glad to give you my phone number.

Blow out on a neutral field?  Here we go with weather conditions???You've got to be kidding me?

Any team that can't put a team away by more than 4 points with five turnovers isn't blowing out anyone on a "neutral" field with "perfect" weather conditions.

Buddy, we gave credit to Rowan for doing what they had to do, but please, if you want to determine a blow out (if you know anything about football), you stop watching wide receivers and running backs and you watch what happens on the line of scrimmage...because as much as the game has changed speed wise, etc...it's still won and lost there...

And things on the line of scrimmage were dominated in the first half by union and quite equal in the 2nd half....

Blow out?  We've had teams blame loses on weather, now we have some guy blaming "we didn't win by enough" because of the weather and we weren't at a "neutral" field...  Geez...amateur!

zachattack22

If Rowan could have only played inside a dome at 75 degrees with no wind and less union fans, they would have blown union out....As if both teams aren't affected by the weather....Oh, that's right...union is USED to playing in the snow because we're in the north country....

Let's see, we played in the snow this year zero times....IF we only practiced in the snow more, Union would have blown out Rowan...wouldn't even have been close....ZA was trying to tell the coaches they needed to go further north around watertown and practice in the snow!!!

Boy, then it would have been a different game....geez...amateur!

No excuses on my end....really thought Union would be able to run against Rowan. I've never seen a player held as often as #91 Walton_yeldin on Union. Don't the refs know how to call holding?

cscs

I guess some Rowan fans can't stand the tension of almost losing and need to make up all sorts of idiotic excuses for why they didn't blow Union out. Man...what 's up with that...get real.

Rosie,
Don't be such a fag.  I was just answering Enginegro's statements on how he wasn't impressed with Rowan.  Now you can take your skirt off and get it ready for next year!!

gobombers,
you and frankie could cuddle next each other in your teddies next week during the round three games. :-*

I think if you go back to the week before Union/Ithaca the only thing you'd say me and "Frankie" would be doing is having a "First Blood" match or "Hell in a Cell."

I'm obviously not a Union fan. Look at my name, for god sakes. The only thing more annoying than a person who makes excuses for losing is a person that makes excuses as to why their team didn't win by more. Get over yourselves. For a school who has never won a national championship, you guys sure do talk real big. In fact, I hope Rowan does make the Stagg Bowl so the Profs can then be a stellar 0-5 in title games.

I guess if my team was always the bridesmaid like Rowan is, I'd have as big a chip on my shoulder as these guys(excluding JT, most of the time).

gopoopers,
If Rowan makes it to the Stagg and loses, I think that would be 0 for 6.

I'm actually pretty impressed by how well the LL did this yer in the playoffs.  I realize losing in the second round doesn't seem that great, but the fact that TWO teams made it, and that the games were as close as they were, makes me think that the LL has a bright future.

I didn't get to listen to the game or watch it as I was fighting a snowstorm as I made my way from Norwich to Sidney on my way back to NYC today.  I barely made it.  Pretty miserable drive.  I was dillusional though, as I thought the whole east coast was getting snow.  I was telling myself that Hobart was going to win because we are a "mud horse."  It wasn't until I hit Sullivan County that I realized that the snow was only northwest of the Catskills.

I'm also amazed by some of the teams that got knocked out in other brackets.  I never thought Mary Hardin-Baylor would be out in the second round.  WOW!

Just four more seasons and I can give and take Krama.  Sweet.

Now you're callin the guy a fag....You're the one that stated if only better conditions, neutral field....That, my friend, is pretty "faggy"....

Wow, what a game (Notre Dame vs. Stanford)  Wild finish...N.D. wins!

Just got back from mama Stalkers a little while ago.  Ate too much, drank too much and pooped too much.  Just read the game updates before even checking the scoreboard and sounds like a good game played in crap conditions, which I love to watch.  Just from reading it sounds like Union played good D, gave up a lot of yards but held up when needed.  Rowan played good D, Rowans running game seems to be the big difference for them.  Without seeing the game I would have to say that the five ints are what killed Union, without them they probably win.

Crappy deal for Encarnacion but it doesn't seem to be a difference maker in the game, his backup gave Rowan what he would have given.

I really don' t think you can judge how good either team is in the conditions they played in today, both will look sloppy and out of sync in snow and ice.
