Did Boston College change the color of their helmets?  The gold seems flatter this year.

If so, Rolevio hasn't noticed it at all and have watched every game this year but the Bowling Green one.

I dont think they have either but they could have.  The uniforms are different in a bunch of different ways this year...

LD11 heard Billerica(MA) who is supposed to be a powerhouse this(#4 in MA) year got knocked off last night by Dracut.  Good to hear.  I always hated them. 

The did lose to Dracut.  And for those interested in Massachusetts Division 1A football (LD and I), here is what we have so far......

Atlantic Coast
Marshfield looks like the powerhouse here and should win the league easily.  They still have Dennis-Yarmouth and Plymouth North, but it looks like they will get in the playoffs

Baystate League Carey
Weymouth has not lost yet and has an oline with a couple 300 pounders on it with 2 great running backs.  They still have Needham and Walpole to get by

Dual County
Acton Boxboro has already beaten nonleague Chelmsford and also defending state champ Wayland.  They are in the drivers seat for that league

Merrimack Valley
Billericas loss to Dracut last night puts Chelmsford in first place alone.  Although Central Catholic and Andover have one league loss, it looks like the Chelmsford-Billerica Turkey day game might decide who gets in.

So if the playoffs started today........

Acton Boxboro-Chelmsford
Marshfield-Weymouth

In Division 1 it would be....
Catholic Memorial
Everett (Cambridge and Waltham still undefeated)
Brockton
Dartmouth/Bridgewater Raynam

LD, D1 is messed up the last few years.  Still only a big three conference and an Old Colony league with 5 teams.  Basically the state champ is out of 20 teams in d1 and 35 teams in 1A

i remember playing Marshfield in high school...they have been a powerhouse for so long now... kid named austin giles is playin DE for BC who is from Marshfield who put up some nice stats last year as a Freshmen

It's a wonder you east coast dudes have not changed ON line to the more accurate INline, unless you are actually standing on some sort of line drawn on the ground. It makes no sense. It's been doubly exposed as bogus now that "On Line" means you are using the WWW. Change or die.
