The Rev was just scanning the standings and decided to take a look at Mt. Union's record.

It is The Rev's opinion that they need to get out of D-III football.

Look at this:

Sep. 1  1:00 PM  Averett •  W, 75-7
Sep. 15  7:00 PM  Otterbein * •  W, 58-14
Sep. 22  7:00 PM  Muskingum * •  W, 62-0
Sep. 29  1:30 PM  at Heidelberg * •  W, 62-3
Oct. 6  1:30 PM  at Ohio Northern * •  W, 44-0
Oct. 13  1:30 PM  Wilmington * •  W, 59-0
Oct. 20  1:30 PM  Baldwin-Wallace * •  W, 35-0
Oct. 27  1:30 PM  at Capital * •  W, 37-0

75-7?  That's criminal!  Look, where The Rev is from, assault and attempted murder are crimes.  Mt. Union must be dealt with!  Just once...just once, The Rev would like to see these guys knocked out of the play offs.  RPI, are you guys up to the task?  You just need Bart to beat Union, and for you to beat Union to seal the deal with no questions asked.

The Rev wishes that the NCAA had relegation just as FA has in England.  That way we could relegate Mt. Union up, and then relegate Merchant Marine into a newly created Division 4 along with Averette, Muskingum, Juniata, Bates, Bluffton, Hiram, Mac Murray, Lewis and Clark, LaGrange,  St. Vincent, LaVerne, Kings, Beloit, and, of course, both divisions of the NEFC.

Bart will run the table and get in Pool C.

Anybody agree?
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

lets wait and see, depends what happens between alfred and Fisher...I think a two loss Fisher gets in before a two loss Alfred... and Plus two losses makes it really hard to get a pool c

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

I do not know exactly how dominate their regular season was last year in going undefeated as usual, but a team from the East only trailed by 5 with 7 minutes to go in the game in their house last year in the Nat'l Semis...

Simple Rev, I have made posts for years just never in post patterns and message boards only under the main headlines. I never even looked at the message boards or post patterns until recently. If an ODB reference can be made from any statement I make I'll take it. RIP ODB. Wow you must be the guy who reads into things, very nice ;)

Mt. Union belongs, don't be the bitter guy. They dominate and we should be happy in D3 to have a team with such stature! If you watched the game last year between MT. Union and SJF it was pretty close. SJF made a great statement for the east. Don't be so quick to get rid of MMA and other poor teams, I remember when Hobart was horrible for years. Plus I'll answer that RPI may beat Union and run the table in LL but they are not up to the task up even playing a Mt.Union. As good as Jimmy Robertson is MT would make him look quite regular fast! MT.Union deserves to be where they are until someone removes them. It won't be RPI!

I was there during the tail end of the dark days at Hobart.  YIKES!  The Rev's freshman year we went something ridiculas like 2-8.  Sophomore year, I remember getting kicked around by Union and RPI as if we were a Pop Warner team, although we wre better than the year before.  By the time The Rev was a senior, Bart was the real deal.

SJU did a great job against the Mt. last year and represented the East very well.  The Rev is confident that someday there will be greater parity at the top end of D-III foosball.  Maybe if a bunch of guys could get the stomach flu the day before a play off game...

I hear ya Rev I can honestly say even as a hard core Union fan I love seeing Hobart having the success they are having. They have really turned it around there and yesterday was just another game that proved it. Year in and year out they are one of the top ten teams in the east. Yesterday was a great win for Hobart and for the LL.

This is ridiculaslee great.  It's almost like they practiced this play by watching Rugby Union Football.  Has any one ever seen anything like this before?

Stlarry personally like's the part when the lineman ends up with the ball looks arount like "wtf?", and then just chucks it over his shoulder with out looking...and it goes right to one of his teammates.  Now way they could do that ever again and get all of the bounces to go their way.

That's an award winner.  Makes Cal-Stanford pedestrian by comparison. Wow!

Few plays in sports really get me excited thTose until yesterday were, The Derek Jeter play vs. Oakland in the playoffs, the 2001 world series (the whole series, in my mind the best world series of my lifetime) The LSU-Kentucky play from a few years back, the Aaron Boone Home run, and this play is now a top all of those
