Welcome to 'design on a dime' at the LL...

Oh yea.  Rugs at building #19.......JU likes a bargin....

And if LLPP doesnt know what buliding #19 is.....just trust me that its an LLPP official store.

Very true....U89 bought 3 oriental rugs at Building 19 a couple years ago....sweet deals on rugs.

On a side note, Building 19's open and close at the blink of an eye....U89 bought his rugs at a B19 in Somerville which was open for all of about 7 months......3 or 4 of them have closed in Worcester in the past year.

B19 also has some AWFUL junk....not surprised Utah goes there for everything.....JU must speak a few languages.....

Well the Norwood store is pretty good and 10X better than the Hingham or Natick stores.  Heres what JU has bought there over the last few years....

- 2 good rugs ($75-$100 each)
- $10 sand wedge (top-flight)
- $5 putter ("tour champ"!)
- $1 book (The Alamo)
- 9 candles shaped like candy corns for the halloween party I never had ($1)
- $150 armless leather chair (Its awesome)

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

OMG.  The end of the world is near.  First, a four-way LL tie heading into the final week, with all four teams playing each other.  Then, SM57 correctly corrects someone else's spelling of a homonym.  I'm about as shocked as my mother was when my sister and I were sitting in the living room at midnight when my father brought her out to help him with a "problem" with the television.  She almost didn't make it to 70 and 2 days old.

Wanted:

A friendly patron of the LLPP who plans on attending the Hobart/Rochester matchup this Saturday.  Must have cell phone and ability not to cuss for extended periods of time.  Must also know how to text message in a jiff.  If interested in $25 fee that goes along with tasks necessary to be performed, contact Frank Rossi by Private Message immediately.  Thank you.

What is the LLPPs thoughts on IKEA?

Ive had good and bad luck there.  I bought (what looked great in the store) a $79 medium table/dresser with two drawers that is falling apart now.

But then I bought 2 $99 bookcases that are pretty dam sturdy and big.

The Rev has had both good and bad luck, too.  How well IKEA products hold up have to do both with how well the object is constructed (some items at IKEA are built well, others are Walmart-quality) and how well the buyer puts them together.

The Rev broke his bed, but it was a cheap one.  The Rev's bookshelves are sturdy as can be.  Also, the headboard from the broken bed has now become his desk, and The Rev is stylin'.

IKEA: hit and miss.  It's better to spend the few extra dollars to buy their highend stuff.

Touchdown Tommy

Frank: Don't spend all your green in one place.  TDT's appearance fee for appearing on the Frank Rossi and RedTackle Shoozapalooza Pregame show isn't cheap.

Utah: They just opened up an Ikea down here in Sunrise, FLA near Ft. Lauderdale.  Well it is the only one in Florida and the closest one before this was Hotlanta.  Needless to say all the rubes were out in full force for the Grand Opening.  It was redonkulous.  They were lined up like 96 hours before the official opening for the free t-shirt.  It was like a G-Damn carnival atmosphere (10K people or more the first day and they had bus shuttles from nearby BankAtlantic Center parking lots where the FL Panthers play).  These folks are like a cult.  Personally TDT isn't nuts about putting the shizz together.  Quality is average, but it sure looks good in their showrooms.  Anybody had the Swedish Meatballs they have there?

U89 jams Balance Bars down the front of his unitard to 'Impress the Girls'.....Michael Keaton style from 'Night Shift'.

Frank, happy birthday to your mom!!!!

Was your mom actually happy to see you??   ;D

Rolevio

Rolevio hasn't been in Building #19 in forever!  Though down in SE Mass. there is Ocean State Job Lot which is similar.  Rolevio once knew a kid who bought a leather jacket at B19, and the jacket didn't survive 12 hours.  That night, just hanging out, the jacket fell apart.

Rolevio's had good luck with Ikea thus far, though has only bought a bed, 2 nightstands and 2 lamps.  Rolevio didn't like their choices of mattresses though, so went across the street to Jordan's for that.  If Rolevio waited 6 months he would of gotten it for free.  Doh.

Touchdown Tommy

U89,  Sit back and relax you are about to get bich slapped by TDT in the Stupid Club for Jerks.  Ask the Playa Hatas how it feels.

This Building 19 has TDT intrigued.  I will have to stop by and check it out next time I am in Boston.  For some reason I am picturing it being like a Trader Joe's (Do you guys have those in New England??) except with consumer goods instead of food products.

U89 is short one Wide Reciever this week because none of you tools would trade U89 one for Marion Barber, Clinton Portis or Kevin Jones.

KS, an injured Laverneus Coles doesn't count.
