Bobby has just been revived from his food and alcohol induced coma which he slipped into shortly after the Union game last Saturday.  That being said, bobby has to catch up on a few house keeping items

1.  Congrats to the Union players and coaches for a great season.  U added a lot of excitement this year which should help kick start a program which had been down the last couple of years.  

2.  Bobby also tips his hat to Hobart for a successful season as well; unfortunately it was another season which ended prematurely.  Bobby was pulling to have a second smashing pumpkins festival at Union this weekend.  Oh well – maybe next year will be the first all LL East Final....

3.  Bobby thinks that the top 3 in the LL will be strong again next year.  There is a lot of returning talent, especially at the skilled positions.

Moving forward, Bobby gained about 10 lbs over the Thanksgiving and is in the process of mentally preparing himself for another 10 over x-mas.  Once bobby has achieved that goal, bobby will be back at his playing weight for the LL PP All-star team.  Bobby will be largest waterboy on the field.

Bobby just picked up the DVD of the Holy Grail this past weekend.  With that in mind, Bobby has the perfect line for the Rhodes Scholar Rowan-Texan

All I know is I can't be too dumb...I wasn't the reporter on the field Saturday at the Rowan-Union game.  When I was Sports Director at WRUC back in 1996, we instituted the field reporter, but that position is like training for the US Postal Service (come wind or snow...).

LLPP ALL-STAR GRO IN TALKS WITH ESPN FOR D3 PLAYOFFS TV DEAL
Bristol, CT.

Gro sat down with the powers that be at ESPN this week and layed out his vision to televise all 31 NCAA D3 football playoff games starting in 2006.

All games will be played on Thursday or Friday with kickoffs scheduled inbetween 5pm and 10pm EST. Local markets will decide which games they want to broadcast.

ESPN will provide 1 announcer, the home team will provide another, and the 3rd spot will be filled with a post patterns regular.

Why not just use a PP regular who is an announcer? :-)
