Take off the panties Frank.  What the H do you do when Union's season ends every year around the 2nd week of November???

Check E8 and OAC for an answer to that exciting question.

Perhaps the NCAA Rules and Interpretation Committee could explain this one to me:

When we (SJF) played Ithaca in 02, our punt returner was tackled pretty hard and then thrown around a bit with about 5 minutes left in the game and the official threw a flag and said the same thing.  I find it funny now, but since we were down 17 at the time not so much....

Dolphins/Steelers game delayed...by LIGHTNING...in LATE NOVEMBER in PITTSBURGH.  WTF?!

(Edit:  ESPN is reporting they laid a new layer of turf -- over the old turf.  Now the rain has to soak through two layers of turf to drain properly, and it's a big disaster forming.  Take the under quickly if you can since scoring is going to be tough in this game.)

(Edit 2:  Plus, the paint was fresh for the lines on the field...there might not be yard markers for most of the night.)

When will they learn that you can't lay new sod during the football season.  It will not take in time unless there is at least 2 to 3 weeks where the field is not used and that will not happen on an NFL field.

How will Ricky be able to light up in the rain?

By faking an injury and asking for an xray in the lockerroom during the game.

+K Frank.

I was just listening to Suzy Kolber and she mentioned that 4 high school games, a college game and now a pro game are being played on the field since last week.  Why the F did they put grass on a field that is used that much, they need to go to field turf.

Reminds me of the Liberty Bowl from about a decade ago when the snow took away the ability to see yard markers -- ESPN is listing down, distance AND yard location on every play now.

Ricky just fumbled to the Steelers at midfield.  Whoops.  I need to calm down a bit....think Ricky has any ideas for me?

(Edit:  KS, guess what, he's walking off the field to get examined in the lockerroom...)

Thats either a broken femur or a total dislocation of the knee....

Having had the latter i can say its not a fun thing....

Knightstalker

That was a Theismanesque injury.  That made KS a little sick to the stomach.

I have now seen it all...

Miami punts with 4 minutes left in the third quarter.  Pittsburgh's returner avoids the ball on the downslope.  The ball hits the ground...and doesn't move an inch.  Yes, it got buried in the sod on impact.  Yep, the score is still 0-0.
