I'm laying 7-5 odds that Isiah Thomas is going to be terminated by the end of today as Knicks coach, following an embarrassing 104-59 loss to the Celtics last night.  Any takers?

The Knicks have been an embarassment to professional sports for a few years now, why stop? The franchise is the personal chew toy of the owner James Dolan, who has experience in raping fans/customers since he also owns a cable company.

And who also stepped in the way of a West Side Stadium for the NY Jets...in a part of NYC that is still, and will be for some time to come, an eye-sore.  There was no reason to prevent that project beyond Cablevision's greed and fear that MSG might suffer because of it (I think that's unfounded -- you can't play basketball or ice hockey in a football stadium too easily -- and concerts play better in front of a crowd of 25k than they do in a stadium half empty with 35k fans).

PS- +1k for the iphone one.....Reg yells at the TV each time he see it.  "Yeah, like nooone ever thought  about looking at weather.com"

no offense to iphone owners **cough** Frank **cough**, but man Gro hates those commercials. I don't hate the phone, just the marketing.

Oh, you can plan air traffic over a major metro area with weather.com? Suuure, the FAA guys in the tower have enough equipment to predict when a raindrop will hit an anthill in Sheboygan, but you have an iphone, you must be right.

The best one is the dood who claimed to carry around an ipod, a camera, a cell phone, and another cell phone for texts & emails in a little bag. huh?

~ end of rant (gro secretly hugs his blackberry)

on the other hand, the bud light "dood" commercials are mantastic.

BOSTON - Isiah Thomas viewed last night's nationally televised matchup vs. the vaunted Celtics as a chance to put the Knicks on the map...
