20 Ugliest Campuses, with some guests from SUNY and the DJAC making the list.

JT kinda expected Rowan to get nailed just for the school colors alone.  Which the author rags on.  But their are far more crappy campuses in the DJAC like Ramapo and Stockton in which the main education building are made from reflective glass.  If you hang out long enough you can see birds fly into the building. Stockton even has a man made lake called Fred. 

JT recalls asking the admissions person if they have residence halls named Pebbles and Bam Bam back in the day

UMass Amherst is probably the best of the 4 main UMass campuses too and they got nailed at number 2.  How UMass Boston is so ugly with the harbor on 3 sides I will never know.

Anyone been to Quiznos lately???  They have done this strange thing and implemented these new flatbread sandwiches they are calling 'Sammies'.  They are chargin $2 each.  Now, they are pretty good, but it seems like it's attracting a lower level clientele, and it's also drastically slowing down operations cause the workers have to stuff this little sandwich into a little paper pouch.  I just waited in there for like 20 minutes.  Brutal.  I got one with my salad though and it is tasty, but I don't understand the movement.

Yea I think this list should be the ugliest college buildings in the country.  Those towers at Umass Amherst are pretty ugly, but down by the football field I think the campus looks pretty nice.

Dont know when the last time youve been to Umass Boston, but they did add a pretty nice looking addition where the football field/parking lot used to be.  But thats another school with an ugly building (only one on the whole campus!) and a nice view.

And as Ithaca has some of the ugliest buildings in the country (quads and towers), the view has to be one of the most impressive ones in the country.

JT can't see her face or hear her speak, without saying or thinking the C word.  He's hoping the majority feel the same way.  It is time for the Clintons and the Bushes to go away.  Combined their family's will have held the top office for 20 years.  Enough is enough.  Need some new blood.

I know Pat's going to say it, but I'll say it too...  The board has done OK without politics.  Let's try to stay away from the bitter arguments that can follow from this...  

Ummm.....did U89 miss an election when a dood from 'port was voted our president?  U89 thought only the offensive subjects were out of bounds......

U89 is a McCain guy himself....he lives in a BS-free zone.

Only been once, about 6 weeks ago.  There are some decent looking buildings, but they are stacked right up together and the only green seems to be the playing fields and the thin strip along the edge of the water.  Considering the location, think they could of done a ton more, even if the buildings had to be higher.

McCain's not bad.  JT was part of the McCain NJ campaign in 2000.  Given that the NJ primary was June 6, it turned out to be a fruitless endeavor.  He panders too much to the Democrats in the Senate... is JT's big beef.   But he's far better than any of the Dems.

What does that mean LD?  Right next to Malibu Beach, ocean front property.......it's beautiful!

But serioulsy.  That school was built on purpose way out there during the 1960s during the time where college protests were a big deal.  It was designed so that no one would be hanging around and protests would be difficult to organize and easy to disperse.  No dorms, only one road going in and out....more like a fort than a school.
