Is Phil Jackson not the luckiest coach EVER in the history of professional sports?  I'm sure he's a good coach, he's probably a great coach... but he had Jordan, Pippen, Shaq, and Kobe on his teams.

let's see that boss' daughter humping zen master doofus take the Memphis Grizzlies to the title.

To quote one of my old teammates at IC:

"No one knows if Jackson can coach or not.  How many times do you think Bill Wennington came to the huddle and said 'Coach, I'm feeling it, give me the final shot?'"

Sorta like Reg approaching the Kinger and saying, "Coach, I'm sick of blocking all the time....can I carry the ball just once?"

That should get him out of hiding.

PBR...

kobe grew up not far from pbr and pbr saw him play many times in h.s. and the dood is a pure 100% grade A jerk(other language not allowed on the board...)  kobe is truly all about kobe and whats best for him period.

Maybe Jackson couldn't take a star-less team to a championship but there are plenty of instances that prove a team full of stars presents its own challenges.  Having lots of talent is never a guarantee of winning.

Having a TEAM full of stars is much different than having probably the 2 best players of all time, each with 4 other guys on the court who can win a game by themselves.

If the Mets had Pedro Martinez in the Prime of his career, and he could pitch every single game at the same level, it wouldn't be too difficult to win.  Basketball is a different animal than any others with a player of their talent.

That's exactly what happened to Jackson when the Pistons beat the Lakers after they added Gary Payton and Karl Malone... but it probably didn't bother him too much when he went home and kissed the 9 other rings he already had.

All this ranting against Jackson you'd think I was rooting for the Celtics... but you'd be wrong. Go LA.

JU, has that shipment of pink celtics hats arrived in Boston harbor yet?  The "fans" are getting restless.

that noise the LLPP hears is yahoo nose diving to mother earth at warp speed....engines accelerating and plane shuttering ....jerry yang is truly a fool....and all this LA vs. Bos talk? pbr being from philly hopes the series ends in a tie being a h8r of the celts and lakers

Speaking of nose dives...

LD11 was out catching few waves a little earlier...I call next wave, last wave...Catch a decent one, hop off, paddle in, try to catch a little nug to ride to shore......Well, i'm paddling in not even looking behind me when this monster shore break wave comes and picks me straight up then dumps me nose first....the board plugs into the sand a whole 6 inches down, and I get tossed and basically ate sh!t, face planted into the sand, nearly broke my neck, and wasn't really at all sure what happened.

I got a little banged up in the face, but I shook it off, and i'll further drink it off this evening.  Big game for the boys...

Gro, you would root for friggin Satan if he was playing Boston team.  You're twisted.

Oh yeah...and by the way, I love seeing the lazy Isaiah inbound pass 'A steal by bird, underneath to DJ who lays it in!!!'

9. Reggie - he was ok for a crummy Celt. Can't root for whiny emo mansonites.
10. Dungy hands down.  Didn't you know Lombardi used to rape farm animals?
