testing...1, 2, 3....testing

roger that LD....some tasty waves and only missing a cool buzz up here in nj today....5-6 faces peeling in....anything down your way? although the water is freezin!

Does it take until August for the water to warm up?

negative ghostrider...actually the water has been much warmer than normal up to about a week ago...pbr was actually just trunkin' it in the lineup....then when those storms rolled thru a condition called upwelling occured and brought the cold water up off the bottom and has been continuing...although in north jersey places like belmar, sea girt etc there is a pocket of warm water and its much warmer than south joisey from LBI on south to cape may which is obviously not the norm.  so for now its spring suit time even some light full suits in the lineup, minimum a heavy fleece rashie on the torso is required even then your hands and feet will freeze before long.

We could use a dash of the cold current.  Our water has been about 80 for 2 months, and usually tops off around 85-87 by August.  Not even refreshing.

Ha BOL Lewdogg that dood is actually a poster on the MIAC board with the moniker "Corn Horn" I believe...

REG: You and Ferrari need to get your heads together on this economy...

TDT is this good enough for ya re: economy....

July 1  -- Billionaire investor Eli Broad said the
U.S. economy is in the worst recession since World War II and a
recovery in the housing market is ``several years'' away.
``This is worse than any recession we've had since World War
II,'' Broad, 75, said in an interview yesterday. Broad, the
founder of homebuilder KB Home, said the U.S. should avoid a
depression on the scale of the 1930s because the country now has
sufficient ``safety nets.''
With home sales and prices declining and consumer confidence
at a 28-year low, ``I don't see it turning around very quickly,''
Broad said. The economy expanded at an annual rate of 1 percent in
the first quarter, the Commerce Department said last week. That
caps the weakest six months of growth in five years.
``This is the worst period of my adult lifetime,'' Broad
said, speaking about the U.S. economy. ``I do not think things are
going to get any better'' before the next president takes office
in January. Selling off vacant, unsold homes could take ``several
years....

Low interest starters, liar loans, speculators, govt, and loan companies.

JT's opinion:

Liar loans -  You overstated income, you committed fraud. No help for you.

Low interest starter loans - Hey you bought on the bubble, that why real estate is an investment.  Do your homework first. No help for you.

Speculators/flippers - See low interest start loans.  No help for you.

Govt - Way to force loan companies to loan to unqualified people.  You get off with out penalty, because... well... you always do.

Loan companies - All officers that participated in liar loans need to be prosecuted and bonuses and property confiscated.  Proceeds use to run foreclosure auction.  But nothing will happen since these doods are in bed with politicians.

People with job loss or medical hardship etc., - They should get help.

TDT in short there is no quick fix here...you have seen what in the past the fed has done i.e. dropping the overnight lending rate to help spur the economy on... but now in short due to several big factors inflation and stagflation are here...its going to be a very long bumpy ride to get out of this and it wont come in 3 months. we have a very long road and lots of pain yet to come. its going to take a long time for everything to cycle thru i.e. new homes, bad loans, tight credit lines, etc. etc....  so sit back and enjoy the ride as best u can

Tags loves that he can take a few months off & still come back to the LLPP for some good economic discussions.

Hey PBR,
Don't you ever have anything positive to say about this world we live in?  You are always referencing these articles that say we are 1/3 through, the worst since, going to take years, etc, etc, etc.

Can't you give us some good news, like

"Billionaire investor Eli Broad said the long tailed blue butterfly population has been growing at a rate of 5% per year".

Or "Bear Grills says that because of global warming, real estate sales in the north pole are up 1283%"

See, happy thoughts!  Happy 4th,

Speaking of gas prices.  This woman traded sex for a gas card.  Maybe LD will have to add another chapter to his Mackin Ho's book.

KS is going to spend the 4th lying in mom KS pool drinking ML or Yuengs and listening to the radio.  The 5th the EDB is playing at a party so KS will probably sleep in the car that night and get  home on the 6th.
