Za remembers his senior year in Highschool, never playing college ball, but playing for a very good semi-pro team that beat the Brooklyn Goldnen Knights who were a power house...Jethro Pughs younger brother was the D-tackle and a great one just short of playing for the pros.

Now, finally, Rowan-Texan reminds ZA of his senior year when he went throgh the entire season of one on one tackling drills NEVER being tackled the entire year.

YOU, Rowan Texan are someone ZA would have absolutely loved to have run over time and time again, bruising your face when my thighs hit you so hard you didn't know the meaning of what tackling really was....Squating 625 as a 17 year old senior sure would have been fun running through your sorry ass!!!

You don't frighten Bobby, Rowan pig dogs. Go and boil your bottoms, you son of a silly person. Bobby blows his nose at you, so-called "Rowanlb92," you and all your silly Rowan P-rof-s.
:P

Frank,
I'm just having some fun hear on the PP.  Never intended to get people that upset, if you go back and read the posts, most of my comments were rebutals.  Like Jt , I also shouldn't have brought up the $$$ thing.  It just gets tiring hearing about the lack of "EJUMACASHUN" we Rowan boys have.  Thought I'd throw a little "eat it" back at you.  Good luck next year.

And by the way,I usually let JT handle my light work.  So I'll pass your challenge onto him.  Believe me you should take that as a free pass! 8)

RowanLB - You're hitting that topic the same week that Bob Huggins has a "tearful" interview with ESPN's Andy Katz about being fired as Head Basketball Coach at Cincinnati.  I have no sympathy for schools that have athletics programs with honestly piss poor academic philosophies.  I think earlier this week, someone here brought up a recruiting story in which Coach King at RPI pulled no punches about academics first.  I applaud someone for remembering that aspect of the spiel and the coach for going down that line.  Audino does the same thing, from what I have heard, and that's responsibility.  The Bob Huggins in this world are self-gratifying jackasses who cry foul after they graduate zero percent of their team off and pocket from the travesty.

I'm sure that Rowan coaches are not as bad as Huggins was reported as being.  However, it seems like the numbers are not strong down in Glassboro.  One of the reasons I'm still around here after Union's loss is because the folks on this board reflect a strong amount of coherent thoughts and statements, and they make general chit-chat and/or debate fun.  A lot of the Assboro boys have been nothing but looking for trouble on here.  I could definitely live without it, and maybe engaging it isn't my best choice on occasion.  Yet, from time to time, we "must protect our house" and remind folks that the half-assed comments from those Rowan faithful only perpetuate the perception of their program.  The biggest favor Rowan can do for their program is to have their representation at the school and in the alumni ranks appear a bit more civilized.  Also, the program can work on its academic numbers and reputation a bit.  It may be a "state school," but once the kids get there, there is a lot the coaching staff can do to affect that reputation.

I'll step back now and say that I'm sure some coaches and some players are strong academics at Rowan.  However, I think the overall program is lacking something in that category.  You as an alum need to remember to promote the team's play on the field AND their play in the classroom.  I've seen little of the latter so far in the Rowan ranks.

That's just my two cents.

res thinks its ok dawg has an incentive-laden deal.

dawg knows the real money is in the endorsements anyway.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

GB15 goes 2-2 on his bets. No blood, except for the 10% vig, but that's nothin' when you're gambling with FEMA's money(I really am, thanks taxpayers!).

Wins:
UGA +2 vs LSU--sorry Lew, but Helen Keller saw that one coming.
Over 73.5(I actually got in at 72.5) in the UCLA/USC game.

Losses:
Va Tech -14 vs FSU--no lie, I'm 0-for-my life when betting on a Vick...I should learn by now.

UCLA +21--Reggie Bush is bananas. I watched even when it was a blowout just to see what he'd do.

GB15's NFL bets for tomorrow(lines from pinnaclesports.com):

Pitt -3 vs Cincy(BEST BET)--Until I lose money picking Pittsburgh against the Bungles, I will bet this game. That, and the best team Cincinnati has beaten this year is Akron. Steelers need this game and should be ornery coming off the Monday night beatdown to the Colts.

Houston +9 @ Baltimore-- Do the words "Kyle Boller" and "giving 9 points" make anyone else salivate? Houston plays much better on the road, too. It's inexplicable.

Giants -3 vs Dallas--I'm a Giants fan and I'm not nervous about this game, whatsoever. The Giants absolutely have to have this one. They'll hit Bledsoe early and, as all WNYers know, the happy feet and ball-patting(haha) will start.

Dolphins -5 vs Buffalo- JP Losman. On the road. Bills team with no run defense. Color me rich.

Browns -2.5 vs Jacksonville- Upset special of the week. I'll pick the home team anytime the game is in the snow and the visitor is from the state of Florida. Add to that the fact Jacksonville's playing it's backup QB, I like this one. Finally, whenever people think the Jags have turned the proverbial corner, they turn in a stinker(see loss to Rams with Jamie Martin at QB)

GB15 accepting any gratuities and guarantees a winning record.

Wow, does the BCS seem to be problematic this year...Once you get past the top game, things go downhill fast...

Teams with automatic bids:

1) #1 USC (Pac-10 Champ)
2) #2 Texas (Big XII Champ)
3) #3 Penn State (Big Ten Champ)
4) #11 West Virginia (Big East Champ)
5) #13 Georgia (SEC Champ - Likely to rise a spot with UCLA's loss)
6) Unranked Florida State (ACC Champ - Assuming Va. Tech's comeback runs short)
7) #8 Notre Dame (By old rule, if Notre Dame finished #6 or better, they automatically get picked, and tonight's losses will make Notre Dame likely #6)
8) #6 Ohio State (Again, by rule, if the highest at-large team is #3 or #4, that team automatically gets a BCS at-large slot...OSU should rise to #4 with the losses)

So, we have Numbers 1, 2, 3, 6 (likely 4), 8 (likely 6) 11, 13 (likely 12) and Unranked in BCS Bowls...The teams combine for TWELVE losses, while it was feasible to have as few as eight losses in the pairings if best records were considered instead.  The cream rose to the top, but the rest of Div. I-A college football has me scratching my head tonight...

Frank,

With all of that intellect that you seem to pound your own chest about, it doesn't really seem like it's gotten you anywhere.  You have this real edge about yourself.  Your  so high and mighty that you can't get out of your own way.
You see, I'm sure you are alot smarter "book wise" than just about every NJAC poster in here.  When reading your posts, you seem more like an everyday thug that happens to have a high IQ.
If you want to match witts on PP, you should take some lessons from Phil.
Wow, the irony in that one.  (A fellow NJAC poster)
As far as your 2 cents go,keep it!!!!
You need it way more than I do.

I met a guy named Frank Bailey last night. (no joke)  I thought about beating him up for a split second, but I ended up just stareing him down in the bar.

GRO EMERGES FROM LEVEL 5 HANGOVER... AND HE'S HUNGRY!!! [/b]

Gro has learned his lesson, 1st off no more going out on an empty stomach. 2nd when drinking liqour drinks... it's better to sip than guzzle. That's the main points... any other issues were a result of the 1st 2.

But, Gro did weigh in at 227 this morning... -5lbs from friday. not eating (well, not holding anything down) for a day and half can do that. To celebrate this weight loss, Gro will consume as much pizza, chips, and wings as humanly possible today. Tonights weigh in goal: 237
