Sorry for bringing up Manny again, but this is what Im talking about when I say what Manny did in his last few days (I said month) was borderline illegal and makes him a punk. Now it does not say anywhere that Manny broke the law, but at least an investigation is being done.

you say that, but Manny has always done crap like this... go back to 06 he quit for the last part of the season and the sox went down the tubes... the situation could of been prevented...

So you see supe, baseball has never investigated when Manny has "done crap like this", but now what he is doing is different and IS being investigated.

U89 thinks what Manny did was pretty transparent.

Be careful what you say Utah.....LD11 is one of those Manny apologists.

I'm not gonna deny what Manny did was shady... but it again was nothing new... he has before decided to not play against strong pitchers... so I think that this is more Boston owners pulling on their personal puppet Bud Selig....

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

After reading some of the posts in the last day I'm glad I've decided to not discuss baseball or politics on this board... :P

It was still new for him (or any player) to not swing the bat up at the plate, and sit out games that were unscheduled.  Then there was him holding the signs up and probably a bunch of other stuff we dont even know about.

Im not ignoring the stuff he has pulled in the past, but this stuff was still different.

JU just got his BC season tickets in the mail yesterday.  Some good games against Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Clemson, Notre Dame and Maryland.  Plus 2 games against Central Florida and Rhode Island.

JT

Rutgers tickets should arrive in JT mailbox sometime next week. Fresno St, North Carolina, Morgan St, Conn, the Cuse, Army and Louisville.

PBR...

speaking of rutgers they are about to implode over there....their top 2 recruits have already decommited and rumors of several others bailing as word has spread of schiano bailing at the end of this year....total bush league what they did to some sports teams in pulling peoples scholies and saying money was going to football instead. they have 1 decent year against a little above avg opponents and try to grow way too quick. faculty is more than angry against the admin and lots of shady deals especially w/ greggie's escape clause that no one knew about...

Don't worry PBR, I am sure this incredible slate of home games will right the ship.

Why'd they settle for Fresno St, North Carolina, Morgan St, Conn, the Cuse, Army and Louisville, did TCNJ, Coast Guard, and William Paterson have too many scheduling conflicts?

That is so touching to see sisters so close to each other.
