Does that mean 1/2 the time ?

I feel stupider each post I read.

How do you feel each time you read the LL Survey for Hobart-RPI week?

  • More stupider then noline's posts?
  • Less stupider then noline's posts?

In LLPPFFL action last night, LD's team Fogel made a bold last minute switcheroo to start Brady Quinn.  He, combined with Jamal Lewis, got the Fogel's out to comfy 33.46 lead.  Genius!

In other FFL action, LD11's money league, in a battle for a playoff spot, in the most important game of the year against an arch-nemesis, had no players going last night, but his opponent had Eddie Royal racking up 28.4 points alone.  Pack it in LD!!!

Big HS football game here in town tonight.  Over 10K expected.  Very excited.  Dusted off the speakers for the RPI/Bart game.  Go0t my bloody mary mix ready to go.  And then Sunday, my friends from Buffalo are hosting for the Pats/Bills game.  Great weekend of football in store...Plus a little Alabama/LSU, Texas Tech/Ok St, and USC/Cal...

Dude, i was all prepped to go out today, and there are ankle bombs.  No dice.  Should pick up next week.

I'm fired up for this week's game.  I can't agree with anyone who thinks Bart is going to get blown away.  Back when I played, its possible that players mailed in games where they fell significantly behind, but these guys have been playing in numerous meaningful games their entire careers.  I think they kind of mailed in Union '06 after getting down by two TD's, but that's about it in the last 5 - 8 years (possibly a couple of the earlier second round playoff games vs. widener and rowan).

I was down on the OLB's early, but after seeing R Robinson a couple of times he's a gamer, still not sold of O Patterson (not even sure if he was the starter initially or Reggie Robinson who played the bulk of the first game or two and then disappeared).  Neither are big, but Robinson will generate pressure.  I really think the DL was embarrassed by their performance vs. Union and you will see a different D here.  I think the secondary will be fine, they can single cover fine even, but there will probably be holes in the middle of the field in the 15 - 18 yard range.  The ILB's are taught to step forward first for run and you can see where they are sometimes late getting back on pass.  Moreso than the DB's, FS Lance (5'4") will have to have a very good game.

I'm more concerned about the offense.  Doyle still makes questionable throws.  The one TGP took off his shoulders he stared the WR down like I would a pulled pork sandwich and he should've been picked off once or twice throwing into 2x or 3x coverage vs. Dickinson.  Hobaica out I can live with, Tritten (FR from Whitesboro)will fill in and I think Marlier might be more effective with 20 - 30 carries based on what I've seen.  I'm more concerned about Duliba, their most underutilized weapon.  I watched that guy make a one handed behind the back catch while going out of bounds for a first down vs. MMA.  If he's out (and Degan the #2), there will be a lot of pressure on the receivers.

I'm predicting a loyalty win for Bart of 21 - 17, but I expect it to be within 10 pts either way.  I wanted to go, but couldn't justify renting a car two weeks in a row and I'm definitely heading to Geneva next weekend to send of the sloppy grass at the Boz.

Lastly, you guys are worrying way to much after politics.  I spent a couple of years in DC and they're all the same.  In other words, ten beers in Nancy Pelosi ends up looking like Laura Ingraham.

Is the RPI webcast decent?  I'll give you (RPI) guys the money if the viewing is not atrocious and, more importantly, dependable (no breakdowns in the middle of a long pass play of turnover).

maybe tomorrow afternoon once the 'cane clears the islands down south the fetch should start picking up and more likely sunday/monday for you down there. monday could be an epic day if the winds swing around and go offshore while that thing is pumping lines at the coastline.
