For those Hobarters that are making the trip -

Most of the fans at MUC are pretty nice people, quality tailgaters.  The seats at the field are assigned and they will get bent out of shape if you don't sit where your ticket tells you to.

The fans are quiet most of the game - almost bored.

Once the game becomes decided, you'll have a few morons wearing a shirt that says welcome to the machine and they act tough for about 48 seconds.
-----------
MUC can be beat - they handled SJF in week 1 - biggest weakness was speed.  If the D for Bart can hit the lanes quicker, it will disrupt MUC's O.

-------
Hobart has been a good program almost this entire decade - very consistent - this weekend it's time to be a great program on behalf of the rest of the East and punch these guys in the mouth.

Good luck.

Great post... from a fan who watched his team get beat up and down the field all game long, and then decides that Mount's biggest weakness is speed.  I'm still cleaning the soda off my computer screen from laughing so hard reading this post.  Second, imagine that.  Someone would actually like to sit in the seat that they purchased.  MUC fans are serious jerks.  Who does that?  I just buy tickets to games and then go sit in the front row.  If another guy wants to sit in his seat, tough luck, I got here first.

The saddest thing about this guy is that I had good conversations with SJF posters leading up to last year's game.  Now, SJF Fan appears and adds nothing intelligent to the conversation (as evidenced by his speed comment) and fills the board with general idiocy.
They should have practiced harder.

My mistake for not making it clearer - I was saying that SJF's main weakness this season was speed, not MUC's.

JT

JT is on the honeymoon and printing boarding passes.  Except for catching the Jets at 7am in Hawaii on Sunday for about a half hour, he's been in football limbo for a while.  JT feels the need to say something...  CURRY???  CURRY??? WTF!!!  Are pigs flying?  What about the locusts?

OUT.

Hopefully the Dragons will ground those Pigs tomorow afternoon w/o the help of the FAA.

Just how excited did you expect the fans to get for a game that was decided before the two teams even took the field?  You have got to be the most bitter loser I've ever come across.

Toph simmer down here on the LLPP. Don't come in here like a hero. SJF fan has a history of saying stupid stuff to get everyone fired up and you happened to bite. Dude I was amazed that he even remotely said something that I agree with (that being he is rooting for Bart). If I were you I would let Mt's play do the talking for them. I would tend to think that the fans of one of the most amazing programs in college sports would not be as sensitive as you appear and take a cheap shot at SJF players like you did (the game being decided before the two teams took the field). Believe me SJF fan stands for no one but himself especially SJF. Be nice don't be a tool up in here I don't care what team you support.

Just to clarify, Toph isn't a Mount fan.  He's a JCU fan.  Take a look at his picture.

I deserve that ;D but it will be fun to respond to you today after your horse**** 56-19 prediction for Curry goes belly up. I wish dem spicy boyz luck today but I will enjoy seeing you look stupid as always with your unrealistic predictions based on your cornhole thinking and your very original line of "nuff said."

Not that I have been able to find. I have only located audio. I would love to see the game!

Pat Coleman

Nope, no video of this game. But audio provided by LLPP denizens Frank Rossi and RT.

Somebody slipped the Guru some DRANK

From the triple take
No. 7 CURRY at No. 3 CORTLAND STATE
Keith: Cortland State, 24-14
Ryan: Cortland State, 31-17
Pat: Curry, 31-27

Gro agrees! Dem Spicy Boyz have RPI 2003 written all over them, except a trip to the final 4 seems unlikely (a certain purple problem looms large). Middle of the pack seed, didn't win their conference, previous playoffs trips but nothing spectacular to speak of...

A win at Cortland is very possible.  This team made a million mistakes and still beat Ithaca on the road.  They have the confidence of that win, plus they were in this position last year after beating Hartwick. This isn't new for them.  On the flip side, if Cortland shores up it's pass defense, this could be a long day for the purveyors of the purple drank.

Gro latches on to the guru's prediction: 31-27 Dem Spicy Boyz.
