.....However Fisher is going to win next year dammit!  No Kmic, No Micheli, and they are finallllllly coming to Pittsford!

No Kmic is right, but they will be returning 8 starters on defense, most of the O-line and all of the WR core.

Early line for 2009:

MOUNT UNION at ST JOHN FISHER (+24.5)  ;)

Ha, I won't lie that sounds about right....Plus Fisher is losing practically it's entire starting defense and our two best wide receivers.  Here is to hoping Tim Tebow finally comes to his senses in the offseason and transfers to Fisher!

raiderpa

looking at the Mount Union depth chart for Saturday's game, 17 of the top 22 defensive players return next season....Kershaw LB, who I think is already a major stud is just a soph..

15 of top 22 offensive players return as well....only 2 seniors out of 10 O-linemen

I have watched it since it started, and I still don't understand how Kehres continues to reload so effectively...

You NY fans are right.  Why wouldn't LeBron want to go to New York and go back to square one?  He'd be inheriting a team that is worse than his first Cavs team.  I'm not saying he'll stay in Cleveland, necessarily, but LeBron wants to win titles.  He'll go where he can win.  The Knicks are a disaster, and have been a laughing stock for awhile now.

He's going wherever he can win.  I hate to break it to you New Yorkers who seem to think everyone in the world wants to play for the Knicks, but it's not even close to a forgone conclusion...no matter how badly ESPN wants LBJ in New York.

I didn't say it specifically, but I meant that Walsh and D'Antoni have the Knicks moving in the right direction reguardless of the King James situation.  I think they will be a playoff caliber team by the time the big free agent season of 2010 begins, even making the playoffs this year. They will also be in good shape financially when that time comes.  Zach Randolph was not suited for the fast break offense and had to go, it helps that he had a money sucking contract go out the door with him.

What we have in the quoted post is an acute flare up of mistakebythelakeitis, caused by Craig Ehlo, Mark Price, and Brad Daughetry playing second rate basketball in butt ugly uniforms in the 90's.

gross

Ehlo and Daugherty never played in those unis.  Daugherty retired the year before they went to them, Ehlo went to the Hawks in '93.  They unveiled those things in the 94-95 season.  Price played a season in them.

Oh, and in 2010 the Cavs should still be a championship caliber team...hopefully with one or two rings on already.

Is that a Rick Fox sighting in that picture??  You haven't seen acting until you've seen him in "He Got Game"....

There was some chatter about that same proposal on the ATN board. It's good to see an example bracket.  Who wouldn't want to see those games?

The second round potential matchups are what everybody has been drooling about all year.  Florida-USC, OK-OSU, Bama-Penn State.....

Div. 1 needs this, and soon.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

pbr would be more than happy to start out w/ 8 teams even to get the ball rolling and look to expand to 16 at some point...like the idea of what this dood put together and well thought out w/ reasoning behind it....just need to get the college prez's to buy in since they are the ones holding the boat up

The Rev is all about free speech.  And if that free speech uses terminology from elementary or middle school, so much the better.

The NHL is a bunch of gaylords for being bent out of shape.  And the media are dillweeds for making a big deal out of it.

the llpp needs to pick up the pace, the llpp has been slacking...

CHICAGO, Dec 4 (Reuters) - Chicken wings go with football much like hot dogs go with baseball or pizza with beer, but this year gridiron fans are eating fewer wings at sports bars and watering holes and chicken company Sanderson Farms Inc  has noticed.
"Normally wing prices firm after Labor Day as football starts and fans
begin moving into bars and water holes to eat Buffalo wings and watch their favorite teams. That did not happen this fall," Joe Sanderson, chief executive of No. 4 chicken producer Sanderson Farms Inc, said Thursday during a conference call with analysts.
Restaurant dining has slowed during the current recession and Sanderson said that slowdown apparently occurred at sports bars too, evidenced by a 24 percent drop in wholesale wing prices this fall compared with a year ago.
"This price weakness reflects the very weak demand for any product
consumed away from home," he said.
The lower price for wings and other chicken products may continue until
the industry reduces production more than it has or until economic conditions improve, he said.
