Champs are Utah in my mind without a doubt. I absolutely hate the BCS and feel it would only be effective if it was used to help get a set number of teams (more than 2) for a playoff. Enough with Father Tebow and his missionary stuff as well as Oklahoma and its heisman winner. Neither are undefeated and I really could give a #@!$ who wins. Again......John Adams, Utah, Tebow is annoying, Oklahoma would lose to Utah, and naked male ass hanging from a ski lift. What a week! Did they catch the New Jersey farm criminal yet?

roger that the dood was apprehended trying to hook up w/ his wife at a hotel. although he tried to steal a car across the street from pbr's work when someone saw him wed. night  and broke into another house down the street after spending the night outside in that wicked ice storm...now he has added another 5 years to his sentence when he was due to be paroled in 4 months...total idiot

KS found out about the Dead shows last week from the Keyboard player in MAWGS Luv MILFS, he is major Dead Head and his moms second husband owns a ticket brokerage that he works for.  KS has 7 shows within a little more than an hours drive.  KS is think IZOD center or Garden, close to home.  Garden no driving, just getting wrecked and listening to the Dead, with Warren Haynes.

What does the Dead sound like w/o Jerry?  Does Warren sound like him?  JT last saw the Dead in 1992.

In my opinion not very good. To me and only me it is just not the same without Jerry and he cannot be replaced. I do however think its great they play and wouldn't discourage it at all. For me I just don't care to listen w/out JG. On the other hand if BW were to carry the load full-time on vocal I would be down. Lately I have been getting into the old JGB music. I especially love the songs they cover. I recently found this great cover of Shining Star live on Youtube in three parts. it's nasty and brings back the old days for me. Just my thoughts ;D

WASHINGTON, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- President-elect Barack Obama has one word on how he
thinks a U.S. college football champion should be crowned -- playoff.
Obama, during a news conference Friday in which he named members of his
national security team,  congratulated No. 1 Florida for its 24-14 win over No.
2 Oklahoma Thursday night, giving the Gators their second BCS championship in
three years.
Obama said a member of one of his former Secret Service details had a son who
played for Florida, which finished 13-1, and he sent him an congratulatory e-
mail.
For years, football fans and pundits have argued for a playoff system to name a
national college football champ instead of the Bowl Championship Series in
place now. Obama has said he prefers a playoff format.
"I have to point out -- if I'm Utah, if I'm USC, or if I'm Texas, I may still
have some quibbles," Obama said of teams that could have laid claim to the top
spot.
"That's why," he said, "we need a playoff."

Bob is handling most of the vocals, they have played with Haynes before and sound good, different but good.  Nobody can really get that Jerry tone on guitar, they can get the licks but the tone died with Jerry.  Should be a good show, still some great musicians.

I liked the mellowness of Jerry's voice.  Guitar playing was good.  Maybe one guy should cut off a finger.  ;)

Again, we all know there needs to be a playoff, (except for the hundred or so people that make millions off of them).

Obama, like Pete Carrol, and Paterno, and the Utah coach, can cry all day and night about it, but the fact remains that they choose to remain in this system.

Talk is cheap.  Mabye we have the LLPP bowl next year?
