The Gro probably could not handle real med school. Not so much for the blood or guts part, but 2 things...

1. Length of time... just got out of 4 years of school, now I need 3-4 more, with unpaid internships? give me a break. Got a friend my age who just entered into a dual PhD/MD program at Tufts... he'll be done in 7 years.

2. Decisions... Gro thinks it would be easier on the population of med school students if they just selected your concentration for you. Brain surgeon, bone doctor... that's a lot of pressure. It would be better to just let them pick jobs out of a hat.
