Chef's table??  Veteran.  I haven't ever been to the chefs table, however, I would assume it would be pretty cool.  $300 seems a big high in Hershey PA.  I've been there one time and there was only like one diner in the whole town.

JT questions the low price of the chefs table in central PA....

$150 per person doesn't sound that bad for a nice place.  Does the chefs table price include drinks? (JU has never been worthy of a chefs table...)

In NY or NJ JT wouldn't be worthy either.  That is usually reserved for good customers that spend like $500 or more regularly.

HH was swank. Old style but swank.  All bathrooms have little folded towels and a hamper.  No dryer or paper towels.  And bonus, no creapy dood in a tux watching you pee, turning on the water, offering the soap and towel for a tip.  JT hates that.

It was five courses and pretty food.  Small plates of food but very good and at the end JT was full. Five flights of premium vino (flight is half a glass).  Food was $80 wine was $35.  So $230 for two. $40 tip for service, $20 for the sommelier. Plus tax about $305.

MJT is practically a gormet chef.  JT didn't get fat eating ho-ho's the past how many years.  So this was right up her alley.

It was either this or a Spa weekend in Berkeley Spring, WV and that was a much further drive down I-81.  JT was looking for something about two weeks ago. Check old and new places.  Chef's table made Hershey new again.

We also went to this she-she Italian joint in Harrisburg (who knew) on Saturday.  No entre under $50.

This should give JT a nag free month, among other things.  The goodwill will have worn off when she says, "That was month ago."  But that ought to pretty much hold her till her birthday in April.  And maybe a getaway in May.

Meanwhile JT must keep working out and dropping the lbs.

JT's own fault.  Can't keep sticking stuff is his pie hole and then sit on his azz.  The weight issue never was an issue til about 30.  But as long as JT worked out... no prob.  We aren't talking marathon workout either.  Intense 30-40 minutes of resistance a couple times a week and little cardio in between the weights.  JT had more excuses than Obama cabinet member for not doing it.  I'm a hit it and out kind of guy so that whole social "gym thing" 5 minutes between sets and five people waiting makes JT want to hurt someone.

MJT says JT is fine. But when is it not fine.  JT doesn't want to find out.  So JT has it set up so there's no excuse not to do something.  If JT feels more inclined he can set stuff up.  But he has ready to go resistance and cardio whenever.  Even MJT is getting into the act.

rowanlb92 died of a heart attack at 39 last week.  He made fun of JT during this past season saying JT gained his lost weight.  He was looking good, not that he looked bad.  He was a much bigger guy than JT.  And a great linebacker for the Profs.  And a nice guy, even though he may not have given other posters that impression. He will be missed.  And its plenty of motivation to get my azz in shape.

First I have heard of rowanlb92 that is awful. Sounds good JT like you are motivated and ready. Go get it man. Life is crazy crazy crazy and it can be gone so quick. Sometimes we have got to try and put ourselves in the best position so that we give ourselves the best chance to live and enjoy.

One of MJT motto's is there's always money for travel. JT loves to see things and do things, especially historical stuff, but he was like there will always be time.  MJT is like "How do you know?"

The places I've been and the things I've seen in nine years.  No chance w/o MJT.  All JT has to do is look at the fridge magnets.  Packed with magnets from around the country and the world.  When we tell people that is just 7-8-9 years, they are surprised.  And we didn't break the bank.  Always dealing.

9-11 did a lot to change JT... he lives for today and tomorrow. Plus MJT had cancer a while back.

As much as JT bitches, he is blessed.

rowanlb92 was Joe Low.  Still has the record for most career tackles and one of the big program turnaround guys from late 80's and early 90's.  Graduated one year before the first Stagg.

Heh, Heh, Hershey Hotel, sounds like a happy place.

KS took MKS and the Stalkerette to the Pru Center and saw the Globetrotters, MKS idea.  Stalkerette had a blast, MKS had fun and got a sweaty wristband, the kid got her basketball autographed by several players and her picture taken by the Daily News with one of the players.  There was a half hour autograph and picture taking session after the game.  KS remembered how much he used to love the Trotters when he was a kid watching the Stalkerette laugh and cheer them on and boo the Generals.
