+k ... and insert some kind of wise crack about the swine flu

RE: TP on the floor

pretty disgusting... Tags work does however have a sign of a talking garbage can saying "please put all paper towels in the garbage and not on the floor"

Apparently some folks just need a quick reminder.

I'm guessing that most of the paper towels end up somewhere near the exit door.  Most places have wised up to the "use the PT you used to wipe your hands dry to open the door" and have placed a second smaller basket right next to the door.

I am still baffled by the number of people I see on a routine basis not washing their hands, so I use this technique.  When I walk into public places, I touch as little of any handle as possible (both entering or leaving).

Germaphobe?....maybe

Any other of the LLPP economists think we have finally found a bottom to this thing?

hopeful that a bottom is forming but wouldnt say we hit bottom yet. too many things can happen and there will be many ups and downs yet to come as well as 1 more big push downward as the shorts are still there in the market but not as bad since they just got their nose's bloodied finally....

You know what though?  Unless you have a clear path out of the restroom (without touching the door handle) then you are probably better off not washing anything if you didn't touch anything except your zipper.  The sink, papertowel dispenser and trash area probably have more germs then anything else.

It depends on where you are.  If you have to touch a door or door handle after washing your hands, then you would have been better off not doing anything in the first place.

Of course you would have to be in the bath room anyway, so maybe its not too much of an option, but if your hands are even the slightest bit wet and you touch that door handle, you are probably wasting your time washing your hands in the first place.

How many people flush the toilet with their foot in a public restroom?

Ditto.

Also uses the paper towel to open the bathroom door before leaving. Usually a trash can is nearby. At USA Today, they were not nearby and I and others worked on our paper towel jump shots before they got a separate trash basket near the door.

So......if we hang out at the Union/Ithaca game....you take a wizz, then I shake your hand, I've given you a handy by ozmossis??  I don't like where this is going....Utah, please wash your hands.

U89 also uses his foot to raise/lower the bathroom seat, depending on what activity needs to be performed.

Another pet peeve of U89 involves the morons who do not pick up the seat when they take a wizz and wizz all over the seat.  Often times, U89 is sprinting to the stall like 'FloJo' to drop the kids off at the pool.  U89 tries to set all the TP on the seat to give a buffer between said seat and U89's gleuteus-maximis.  If wizz is all over the seat, U89's timing gets thrown all off and an accident can happen.
