Ya no kidding. There's a shocker... Mayo could have gone to a zillion other higher profile basketball schools, wonder why he chose USC.

People do scream it on every tee off and NOONE's laughing anymore...but yeah...good luck with that.

Wait, people actually yell the word "Gith" at tee-off?  I haven't heard that.  Would it be funnier if someone yelled Global Indian TV Honours?

How about the government stops giving AIG billions of dollars and let's them fold like a cheap suit.

Throwing good money after bad never works, no matter how bad you want it to. Now they've got their hand out for more, and eventually it must stop.

Gov't should man up and say it was a bad idea, and they flat out lost taxpayer money. To keep pumping money we don't have into this organization will only lose more money for the taxpayer, not to mention help inflationary pressures that don't need anymore help in gathering.

Now Mr. Yes We Can is tackling his Health Care agenda... someone needs to clue him in that we can't continue to print money if we want our kids & grandkids to have any type of decent life. Every time he talks the market becomes more volatile.

The gov't can't prop up a failed business & tackle a socialist agenda all at the same time, we're already flat a$$ broke!

well it looks like we finally have a bottom forming....although there is a ton of shorts still out there and since they have gotten beaten up handily there will be a short covering soon to go along w/ and match the performance of the dollar. factor in the markets are due for a correction anyway from the latest run up dont be surprised to see a nice 10-15% correction shortly.  w/ the tests they finally have in place and regulations things are actually starting to slowly turn albeit very very slowly. keep printing and bailing out the boat unless your ready to see the dow below 5K and real unemployment (not the numbers the govt uses) at 40-50% which would happen if you stop helping....you ready to be unemployed for 24-36 months if we stop bailing out? hope you have your money in your mattress and not the bank

Ha, good point... At least we've got that going for us.

PBR...

here is a truly worrisome thought to pbr...colgan air (which pbr has flown many times scary thought) which had the crash up in buffalo awhile ago, pbr is listening to testimony and now everyone is shocked to find out the pilot lied on his application and failed his test twice before finally qualifying to fly that plane. and colgan states he lied on his resume/application and would of been immediately rejected if they had known he had failed that many times. dont they have a database that tells them this? pbr understands the whole secrecy and not singling people out but wtf this isnt some dood hammering on a keyboard in an office all day this is guy buzzing around the skies at 200 knots w/ 20-40 people counting on him knowing what he was doing!!! the testimony and listening to the tapes this dood is hitting on the copilot while warning bells are going off in the cockpit!!  she(copilot) is talking about how tired she is from flying in from her parents house in seattle the whole night before and how she has never flown in ice before!!! while seeing the ice on the windshield and wings accumulate they are chit chatting like its a backyard bbq while the yoke is shuttering(warning of a immenent mid air stall) and warnings are going off. guess pbr's point is they need some sort of db to access pilots and their qualifications and performance and screw the possible discrimination. pbr doesnt want the pilot of my 767 cruising around the friendly skies at 400 knots failing his qualification 8 times until he finally passed or was flying a cessna 6 months before...

rant over...pbr steps off soap box

John Sterling just called to let me know that I can buy my bleacher seat from the old Yankee Stadium (pictured below my handle) for $400 plus $70 S/H.  I'd love to have it, but I just don't think it's worth it.  Thoughts from the LLPP?

Yea I would think that pilots must have some sort of official database with logged in hours, training, tests and the whole nine yards.  Thats crazy.

Now I have a rant.  It's not as important as airline safety, but it's something that bugged me this past weekend.

So JU is getting two free months of all the movie channels (Max, showtime, encore, TMC, etc).  Last night I'm flipping through and see the movie 'There Will Be Blood' on ShowtimeHD.  The movie is in the middle, and I wanted to see the movie, so I go ondemand to look for it so I can start from the begining.  So I look through the ShowtimeHD movie selection and 'There Will Be Blood' isn't there!  WTF?  I mean, I can DVR it the next time it comes on, but what is the point on not having these movies on demand that they show on the regular station?  And then there are all the movies that they show on HD during the regular time, but the HD versions aren't availabe ondemand, just the regular ones?  Id even be willing to sit through some commercials ondemand for the "luxury" of watching these things when I want to.  How does Showtime benefit by not having these movies ondemand?

I am tired of it! Let these crooks fail and hit bottom like the bunch of dirtbags they are! I am getting really annoyed with all this handing out of money. All of us who have been playing by the rules, paying our bills, being honest, doing the "right" things get nothing from Mr. Obama. COuld you imagine someone actually being held acountable for something?

By the way anyone on the LLPP listen to Clemens yesterday on Mike and Mike. He is simply pathetic and just a total idiot. I think this jerk actually helped book sales by addressing it on the day of its release; real smart. I am glad he is paying a company a bunch of money to help him with his PR that keeps giving him this great advice that just reiterates what we all know (or should know). That he is a liar :-*
