amazing video footage of lighthouses and huge waves...pbr has had a lifelong fascination w/ the ocean growing up at the shore and surfing/boating in the summers...this video is incredible believe its normandy in france and pbr has to imagine they are unmanned lighthouses....

Imagine how difficult it must have been to construct those in that kind of environment.  Engineering marvels.  Thanks for the clip.  The Rev is going to show it to his 5th grade science class.

exactly rev....engineering marvels...sizes/shapes  of the lighthouses to withstand the waves and materials all have to withstand wicked hostile environments....wind/water/salt definetly science for the engineers and geeks. mother nature is relentless and still the most powerful force around....

Here is the TOTD for June.

Rev,

I need an official ruling on this one.  JT thinks this could be an asian backside.  And a very nice toned one at that.  This gal works out.

The Rev thinks not.  Although said bird is fit, The Rev believes her to be a Caucasian of Mediterranean descent.  Her posterior appears to have equal ratios of "badonk" to "adonk" causing an absurdly high badonkadonk coefficient.  The highest badonkadonk coefficient an Asian has achieved is .69.  A lass must have at least a .84 to get on Howard Stern.

It's science.

JT thought the gal in picture might be at least part asian, but on second look the Rev is dead on.

Sometimes you get a higher bdd coefficient from certain asians of polynesian or filipina persuasion.  Comes from the spanish influence, particularly in the filipina.  And the spanish got theirs from moors.

JT has proof.... MJT  ;D

I just looked at the political boards section and wouldn't even want to engage on any of those topics unless I was drunk or high.  I don't know how you guys do it, or why you bother (unless you are consuming copious amounts of something).

Anyone following this FSU/FL attorney general/NCAA story?

http://cbs4.com/local/fsu.appeal.ncaa.2.1043196.html

Its only a matter of time before the biggest fifty or so tell the NCAA to have a ****meat sandwich (sorry, I just watched the Harold and Kumar sequel) and do their own thing.  The Alabama situation seems like a joke too.  They hooked their boys up with a couple of textbooks each (max value in any incident was around $2,500 and they didn't sell them or receive any consideration in return) and get slapped with a penalty?  I could understand the University punishing them, although its their own fault for having no controls in place, but the NCAA getting involved seems silly.  I can't even imagine the extreme, slippery slope from here given the specific circumstances.

So Im thinking of getting a portable GPS for my car but have no clue what kind to get.  Im looking at the ones in the $99-$199 range.  Any suggestions on this?  I wouldn't be using it all the time just every once in a while.

its a joke if they punish 'bama that much for a few textbooks then fsu should get the death penalty based on what they did.  but alas its bobby and the ncaa wont want to upset the seminole faithful...

Im not sure I get the story.

So Florida State had sanctions put on them by the NCAA, then Florida State appealled those sanctions.  Then the NCAA responded to the appeal.  Now the Florida attorney general wants to see the appeal from the NCAA but the NCAA wont let them see it?  Doesn't Florida State have the appeal response?  If they do, can't they just show the attorney general?

correct but remember the ncaa likes to be the wizard of oz behind the curtain working all the sticks and levers and in complete control. they dont take kindly to people sticking their noses in what they perceive as their business...so fsu knows if they make those documents public they will tick off the ncaa to no end and the ncaa will put their entire athletic dept under a microscope for the foreseeable future....(if the ncaa were legit we would have a div I-A football playoff scenario by now)

I bought the Garmin Nuvi 205 in January and love it.  Works great for what I need.  Watch the prices at Walmart, I think it is around 129.99 right now.
