You know it is interesting (*dlippiel promises he will let this go after this last post ;D) last evening dlippiel and Ms. dlippiel went to a friends and BBQ'ed. For some reason dlippiel spent most of the evening thinking about the LLPP discussion. dlippiel thinks that he may have over-stepped here and been a little self-rightous and unfair. As much as dlippiel does feel societies priorities are out of whack but second chances are huge, (god knows dlippiel has gotton one), and dlippiel is currently tossing his thoughts of "priveldge" around and rethinking it. dlippiel is not backing down here and being a pussy. dlippiel just really feels many on the LLPP made some very good points and really have dlippiel thinking about this issue. dlippiel thinks it is really cool that through a discussion here he was able to actually see a different perspective, reflect on it, and start to formulate some new thoughts. dlippiel still hasn't reached a full conclusion but is thankful for the insightful discussion here on the llpp yesterday. thanks guys +k to the last full two pages!

No biggie for JT.  JT has seen plenty of people get bigger passes than Vick.  If Vick spends a lot of time telling kids "Don't be like me" and what happens when you try and cover it up, he'll do good things.

Very true JT he does have a unique opportunity here to send some very positive messages to people across the country. Hopefully he continues to take advantage of that.

JT is dog guy.  Always had at least one dog since he could remember.  If Vick can prevent future abuse, and hopefully increase shelter donations and adoptions, his time will be well served. He's got great opportunity to redeem himself.

You are right... society is way out of wack.  Those idiots at PETA are coming out with statements describing exactly what Vick did to those dogs.  Leave it alone already..

How does one go to work for PETA... and why?  Their lives revolve around ethical treatment of gerbils and is probably a big reason why they act like such a-holes.

SF came into the office today to make up for the afternoon taken off yesterday and wow... 4 pages of good 'ish.

+K to all going back 4 pages.

PETA can be annoying, but MP respects what they do. So many organizations sacrifice their principles in order to get more people to tolerate them, but PETA will go after the liberal, popular President of the United States for swatting a fly. That takes balls.

And one last thing about Vick... the only reason Vick went to jail is that dogs are cute. Animals for processed meat go through worse than what those dogs did by the thousands every day. MP's not preaching country-wide veganism or anything, but it's something to think about.

JT loves trash TV. He's looking at the new Brooke Hogan show right now.  This is supposed to be her comeback.  When did she have a sucessful start?  Maybe JT is missing something.  She's an OK singer... nothing special. Like a pumped up Madonna.

What is really sad is that the Hulkster can barely walk now.  Just about everything on his body his f*cked up. JT knows its an act... he saw Ivan Putski beat Superstar Billy Graham in JT's HS gym for the title in 1979.  This is how far wrestling has come.  I hope the WWE is taking care of the man.  He made the WWE.

Don't think so -- The WWE doesn't think very fondly of him these days, I've heard.

I'm sure he has plenty of cash, especially if what was shown on "Hogan knows best" was actually his 'ish. He won't have it for long however... the Mrs. is going to take him to the cleaners no doubt.

NWO karma  :P

dlippiel knows this sounds pretty gay but he occasionally watches The Soup with Mrs. dlippiel and he finds it quite hilarious.

D-lip,

The Soup is not gay at all.  It is one of the funniest shows ever, and busts on the gayness of Hollyweird in a huge way.

Plus, it shows clips from Girls Next Door and Keeping up with the Kardashians.  With that much T and A on display, you do not have to worry that you are watching something illicit.

Now if you said you are devoted to John and Kate Plus 8, then The Rev would be worried about you.

The Soup is Hilarious.  Great Humor there.  Have you seen the "Sports Soup" on Versus?  Pretty Funny Also.

dlippiel thought Tiger was going to take this one, guess not  :(

dlippiel: Pep is pleased that Ithaca will be playing at Union this year. That will be a good test for the Dutchmen. Will be taking note of U's progress. Sounds like Audino's got some talent to work with. Alfred often was early season target practice for the Bombers who seemed to be at full throttle early in the season.

Now that AU and IC meet late in the season, it seems the Bombers build momentum through the year and hit full stride against none other than Pep's Saxons.  ???

Pep concludes that for Alfred, there really is no ideal time to play Ithaca. Nevertheless, AU has been making it an exciting game each of the last five years and did pull one out at Merrill in 2006.

On Saxon Warriors!

On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

On Saxon Warriors!

Pep dlippiel thinks that Alfred is going to be quite strong here in 09 and as of right now feel that if they played early in the season the Saxon Warriors would be right there with the Bombers, going as far as saying dlippiel would not be surprised if Alfred came out on top. dlippiel concurrs that this early season matchup with the Bombers will be a BILLY FUCCILLO HUGE test for the U. U has a lot of talent on the O side of the ball in 09 and if the O line and D comes through the U will be in for a fantastic campaign. dlippiel has a ton of respect for the Saxons putting them ninth in the preseason poll.
