Bus has a dilemma.

He has been summoned for jury duty next week (yes the god damn week before Christmas).  Bus knows it is his civic duty to serve as a juror but this is terrible timing.  Bus has lots of shopping still left to do and needs to make some bank to pay for these presents, etc.  Henceforth, he is looking for advice on what he can say to the prosecutor/defense attorney when they interview him for a potential trial that will get him immediately excused!  Taking suggestions...

Bus, 2 things...

1. Wear this shirt every day to jury duty

2. Answer every yes/no question with "Yes, that's what Hitler would do" or "No, Hitler wouldn't approve of that".  Every now and again blurt out "What? yes Hitler. I know... no pickles."

Is Union89 the only one that saw a bad ending coming for Daryll Russell....he was a stud at USC and 'da Raiders.....wuz he from Lawrence??

2 questions....

1)  Union89 knows we talked about this but.....on Jan. 1 U89 has to make a decision.....XM (O&A) or Sirius......help a jackass out.........

2)  RT is  a good man but.....damn, we need more notice to the red flag than 2 hours.........BIG was willin' to allow U89 to play bouncy...bouncy, but U89 said he had to go to Lansdowne.......now U89 has to find some good porn......any suggestions??

U89,

I currently have XM radio and thoroughly enjoy it.  It has two comedy channels, all major league baseball games, a huge variety of music channels, weather and traffic report channel for all major U.S. cities.

Most likely though, they are two great products and it is like comparing a Granny Smith to a Golden Delicious apple.

Bon appetit!

Good question U89...I applaud you.
Reg has the same question.  Are there any special deals goiing on right now?  How about for a buy two deal?

If only this decision was as easy as choosing between quilted toilet paper and sandpaper.

Regulator

Regulator just bought matching sirius sportster radios with a seperate boombox (I love that word) for her listening pleasure.

Add a sirius radio to any account for $6.99 month. (1st radio is like $13 month)

Milk was a bad choice.

Bus got his old man XM radio but only because he will enjoy listening to the MLB games on it.  Sirius has NFL, NBA, all the ESPN radios, gonna have Howard Stern, etc.  Bus believes that both services are 12.95 a month, but you may get a break for signing a longer contract.

CASUAL FRIDAY AT THE OFFICE:

Bus is pimpin on this Friday morn.  Wearing his Sunday best while all the girls can't figure out what his deal is.  Shouldn't Bus be wearing blue jeans and a polo.  Bus is a professional and knows that babes dig a man who dresses nicely.  Remember this Gro at the Christmas party tomorrow night.

JT

JT has XM. Had it since Oct 2004. Paid for three years.  XM has the much better technology and has portable receiver.  JT started listening to Howard in early 80's.  Howard hasn't been funny since 1995.  Doubt the move to Sirius will make him funny again.  He'll still mail it in.  W/O Martling and Billy West, Stern sucks. JT prefers O&A.

Happy Casual Friday to the LL board!

KR checking in from a cancer lecture apparently Karmal apples can prevent cancer of the fro, so KR decided to drop off a dose of preventative medicine to his LL friends.

KARMAL apples??? Do they have any relation to the Karma on this board?
If so, my Karmal apple should be even better for me!

Go with XM and O&A... much funnier with the bbboys, and XM has a ton more variety than the little doggy company. You can get everything from country to metal to rap to whatever and the cost is $12.95 a month (about the same as Sirius), but the cost of the actual radio is much less, to my knowledge the difference is about half. (At least for my radio the Roady 2)

I have had XM for about a year and I have never had to call the company to complain about service, content or anything. I feel it is a much better service than Sirius. Sirius is banking most of the future of the company to Hoo Hoo, which I feel is a big mistake.

An Ode to Biscuits and Gravy

For those members of LLPP who have not lived in or had an extended stay in the south let me say this... the cure for anything is biscuits and gravy.

The genius of B&G is its simplicity. On one hand you have biscuits. The other, gravy (the country kind, not brown turkey drippings).  Alone they are tasty, but harmless. When paired together they form a volitile compound capable of curing hangovers, reduce stress, and stop or reverse male pattern baldness.

Oh mighty B&G, Gro would eat you every day if he could (and didn't want to live past 60).
