So, in the name of my hometown, how's about a friendly bet?  I'll open the floor to LLPP for suggested stakes.

I'm gonna agree with you... Florida football is VERY good.... but so is Ohio.  They definitely have the market cornered on speedy athletes (UC's top receiver is from FL) , and its a home game for USF.

How about for the bet... the winner gets to choose a new handle for the loser ..... and for a week, that is the name the loser will go by.

JT's comment is fact, not political opinion.

Whether one can believe that or not, it's still a politics board post and not appropriate here.

JT -- you seem to be the person who most drags politics outside of the political ... arena, shall we say, set up for it. Please stop doing so.

As long as the PC police spin, distort, and run things, one better not be a public figure and try to conduct business in America. Unless you are music or hollywood star, then you can do and say what you want.

This, for example, is an opinion post.

I'll be there tonight.  This might be the year USF finally gets over the Cincy hump.  Plus, Tampa native EA is in the house.

USF is my only hope at not watching two losses in RayJay this weekend.

Not a chance, homie.  Tony Pike will be too much tonight... and Gilyard will return a kick for a TD..   SF will be in a bar downtown Cincy celebrating.  These are the two best Big East teams.. a win here is really great.

I love Cincy -2 in this one.  Whats the o/u ??

o/u = 48.5

EDIT:  SF is impressed with how far USF has come under Leavitt.  SF remembers preparing to play Kentucky Wesleyan in 1998 and watching their game (they got murdered at the Old Sombrero) with USF ---- and thinking, "who are these guys??"

Now, now.... Ohio State has sucked against higher competition, but I'm speaking about the HS Athletes who make up the Cincy team... their turnaround coincided with Kelly hiring recruiters who could get the talent in the Cincy area to stay home and attend UC.

What kind of pompous Florida football fan would I be if I didn't take your obvious Ohio bait?

I agree.  I think the PC police are quite dangerous. There are two other groups that supposedly put non-binding CONFIDENTIAL bids in for the Rams.  Do we know who they are?  What a slippery slope. Who's next? It could happen to anyone.

According to ESPN, these other parties are looking to move team to LA to boot.....me thinks the NFL wants the Checketts group to win and remain in St. Louis.

PBR...

Fort Collins, Colo. (AP) -- A 6-year-old boy climbed into a
homemade balloon aircraft and floated away Thursday, forcing
officials to scramble to figure out how to rescue the boy.
Live footage from a local TV helicopter showed the balloon
gliding quickly through the air.
Larimer County sheriff's spokeswoman Eloise Campanella says
the device, which is shaped like a flying saucer, has the
potential to rise to 10,000 feet. Sheriff's officials last saw
the device floating south of Milliken, which is about 40 miles
north of Denver.
Campanella says the 6-year-old climbed into the access door
and was in the airborne device.
FAA spokesman Mike Fergus says the agency has been notified
and it was unclear whether traffic controllers had picked it up
on radar.

No time.  Too busy right now.  Maybe next week if JT's lucky.  JT is pretty sure he's not missed.
