People down here close to Chucky have whispered that Gruden is on ND's radar.

I think Chucky would be an awesome college coach because young players would put up with his **** more than NFLers and I think he'd be a kick-ass recruiter.

EDIT: I should add that Gator Nation is [terrified of a potential Notre Dame opening despite Urban's repeated reassurances that he has no intention of leaving Florida.

Why go to ND over Florida? Florida's the better program, better weather.... does ND pay more?

Because if you are the coach that restores ND to national prominence you become the biggest name in college coaching.

I think Urban is already the biggest name in college coaching.  Has a shot at his third title in 4 years and gets any player he wants from anywhere.

BUT:

-Urban is from the midwest

-Spent five years as ND's receivers coach

-Has repeatedly referred to ND his "dream job."

-Was offered the ND job when he took the UF job but chose UF because his young family wanted to live in Florida.

-One kid is in college and the other is on her way next year.

-Also, Urban is named after a Pope.

Urban also wanted a few special admits.  ND said OK.  Urban wanted it in writing.  ND said no.

One would think ND is a little sorry about that now.

Just confirmed with Robert Healy, Sports Information Director at Susquehanna University, that the RPI-Susquehanna game is on as scheduled, with no discussion of a Plan B occuring to this point.

[EDIT:  We will have a live update from the RPI-Susquehanna game during halftime of the Union-St. Lawrence game tomorrow afternoon on our WABY broadcast.  Remember, for those of you having trouble with the SaratogaMoon.com webcast due to potential stream limitations we've been experiencing, you can easily go to Teamline.cc and choose Team Code 1160 for the same feed.  We have had extraordinary demand for the broadcasts lately, and tomorrow's long-distance game will be no different.  Please pass the word for those who may not realize there is a Teamline.cc feed.]

We're back to all rain here. I don't know what it's like up RPI way, and they were coming down today - might even be here already.

Trying to make up for the Karma sniper.  Still too soon, will give karma to LLPP later.

Honestly this karma sniper **** is getting a bit annoying. dlip feels like if you want to take his K and his brothers K on the LLPP fine. Just be a ****in man and let it be known that you are taking k because you either disagree with certain posts, are a ****in computer dork, or are just a total piece of ****. dlip feels it may be a touch of both:

Dlip,

I'm not going to do it, but I should snipe you for that pic.  I'm trying to knock back a bunch of Sam Adams Octoberfests before my wifes extended family comes over for dinner and I have to look at this?

Come on pa  :D dlip was just trying to find the most accurate representation of the sniper out there.

I know, and it would be funny if I was drinking a light beer or corona.  I've got until 6:30 and my options are Sam, MaCallum (18 yr) and Sauza.  I'm trying to get loose, not completely Hobart nasty, so Sam is my only choice and those things can't really be pounded safely.

Very true, Sam Octoberfest is very delisious, but also very unpoundable.

Speaking of poundable in general.....U89 has not had an alcoholic beverage since September 20.....U89 would love to pound 37 ML's tonight, but is still on some pretty strong junk post surgery and mid-infection....

The drinking lamp has taunted U89 for a month...... >:(
