Ok, so LD has to admit that he digs the Broncos socks, so call me crazy...However, here is my issue...

All of the terd Broncos fans who said McDaniels was a jerk who couldn't coach because he came in and disrupted their 'core' and got rid of Mr. Wonderful Jay Cutler, BEFORE he even coached 1 game!!!....You are NOT allowed to cheer for this team!!!!  Go back to your log cabin and wait for the second coming of Mike Shanahan.  Dumbasses.

The second coming of Mike Shanahan

Cutler wanted out long before McDaniels didn't want him.  JT does admit he didn't think Orton was worth a damn.  JT thought Simms was going to be the guy before he got hurt.

+k JT dlip felt the same way regarding Simms/Orton. He definitely felt that with Orton the Broncos were going no where fast. He also feels you really can't blame Broncos fans for being pissed about losing Cutler, the ****in dude was a franchise QB. Any teams fans would think their new coach was an asshole if they handled things the way McDaniel did early on. He is just proving that he knew what he was doing and on top of that he can get guys to play up for him. Obviously it is working out and McDaniels deserves a lot of credit...so far, for the great start. dlip was very critical of McDaniels and Cutler (****in dink) but looking back it seems that it was just time for Jay to get the **** out of Denver.

Having watched Simms from a few away as a high school ref,  JT still thinks Simms is the real deal.  He got screwed in TB.  Dude led the team to the playoffs... played with a ruptured spleen later on and lost the starting job.  Simms may never get his shot.

And if his mom had only paid my grandmother for her tutoring services all those years ago, the curse we've placed on her offspring would not be destroying them!

Everyone wants to Cutler to do well because he's from a "smart" school.  Everyone roots for kids from schools like Vandy, Northwestern, Stanford, etc. even though those kids can be retards too.  I knew a kid originally from Binghamton (then a private shcool in VA) who went to FL, was supposed to be better than Doug Johnson and Jesse Palmer, but ended up dropping out, going to a DII school and finishing up as a backup at Vandy and he wasn't what you'd think of as the typical Vandy/Duke/Stanford student at all.   I'm a Bears fan, so I have no choice, but they weren't going anywhere with the former incarnation of Orton (Brandon "out of my mind" Marshall aside, are the Broncos WR's that much better than the Bears?).

I see a lot of those bangs down here in Atlanta.  Used to see them up in my year at Deerfield and some kids had comparable stuff at Hobart.  There are worse hairstyles for sure, but it's become quite a poser thing to do (just like pastels have become commonplace in the last decade).

BTW, Kim Kardashian has never been anything other than a pig.  Even those clowns on the Hills have more class.  I literally compare Kardashian to a porn star because that's the only reason anyone ever knew about her.  Bill Simmons cracked some great jokes about her little piggy sister marrying Lamar Odom on one of his podcasts.  Jessica Simpson may have her flwas, but not comparable imo.

Right.  Because good high school quarterbacks always end up being good NFL players.  I put up 40 a couple of times in high school and the refs from those games aren't posting on any NBA message boards.

Simms was a good guy but, if you had been on the practice field in Orlando after he came back from that spleen injury and seen him throw, you wouldn't be saying this.  He suffered some nerve injury that screwed up his motor skills or something.  It was incredible.  A writer-friend of mine wondered how he was even able to tie his shoes he looked so uncoordinated.  If it wasn't so sad, it would have been hilarious.

KS just read that the "God Hates Fags" people are going to be protesting outside Dickinson High School in Jersey City.  KS doesn't want to be anywhere near that scene, Dickinson is one of the worst HS in NJ, there are brawls around the school almost weekly.  For some reason the GHF are coming to Hudson Cty to protest corrupt politicians getting arrested and the Jewish Rabbis who got arrested.

On a totally unrelated note....U89 used to think Kim Kardashian was smoking hot....now U89 thinks she is complete swine.

How does this happen?

U89 has similar feeling to Jessica Simpson.

Never thought Kardashian was smoking hot, but agree that she is a pig now.

I think the similar situation for me was Brittany Spears. Her in the catholic school girl uniform? Top ranked. Sliding dowhill (fast) ever since, now just another pig. A year after the video, was at a bar before a Caps game, made the statement that she was done, friends mocked me. I saw that one coming a mile away.

I think K'Fed was clock striking midnight on Spears and there ain't no Prince with a glass slipper coming in this story.

JT knows NFL talent when he sees it.  And JT has seen just about every North Jersey stud before JT stopped ref'ing. JT also played against no doubter's in HS.  Simms had IT.  He may have needed more time to comeback.  He apparently has overcome it.  He looked good this pre-season before getting hurt. Regardless, he's a very good #2 for the Broncos.

This is different from NFL potential, in which it is talent, work (late bloomer), and luck that give some the opportunity.

Dickinson and the GHF wacko's.  That probably won't turn out well.

I think Simms is good too, although his Dad is a douche.  I thought Simms would win the spot in Denver.  My statement wasn't about Orton or Simms though.  It was about the fact that Cutler wasn't worth the trouble, and isn't worth a damn as far as i'm concerned.  He's about as important as Phil Rivers.

In-laws (Red Sox fans) in town, when Girardi comes out to pull Robertson, I snap " What the f-, err, eh, heck is he doing! I'm getting tired of this crap with Girardi!" I almost dropped a "dlip bomb" in front of my in-laws, seconds away from a night of akwardness. I'm not sure whether to blame Girardi or dlip for this near miss.

doid, dlip has been annoyed with Girardi for quite some time now. Honestly, dlip just does not feel like he has a ****in clue, at times, when it comes to personel. He has made Joba into a ****in circus event. Last night dlip felt sorry for the yankees pitchers, Girardi uses them like they are cattle going out to a slaughter.

Good article on Girardi's moves, Verducci basically said the same thing.

Now you've brought up an issue near and dear to The Rev's anatomy.

Rev's theory #1: Company is trying to discourage use of the toilets.

Companies figure they can prevent "wasted time" in the bathroom and save on cleaning costs if they can stop you from doing #2 during work hours.  If you do go #2, they want you to suffer and think twice about doing it again.

Rev's solution: bring the Charmin soft wipes.  Be unabashed about doing it.  When Rev was at the airline, he's march down to a different floor with his softies and a magazine under his arm.  People HAD to know what The Rev was up to, because Rev made no effort to hide the fact that his 1:30 appointment was about to happen.

"Be not afraid."

All Americans should be proud to wipe with John Wayne TP, it's rough and tough and don't take **** of of nobody.

KS remembers the GI TP in the Navy, you could still see the shape of the wood chips in it.
