GRO PREPARED FOR 1ST TRIP TO THE GYM IN '06[/b]

With new years already a memory most people will head to the gym today in order to finnaly get in the shape they set out to be in 4 years ago. Gro has a keen eye for these people. Some are decked out in brand new gym clothes... usualy color matched to their brand new sneakers. Others do the exact opposite and are wearing their Farm Aid shirt from 1986.

Either way, as previously discussed, these people are wasting my time and therefore my money.

Anyone caught using improper technique on all equipment or excessivly talking to their friends in an effort to turn a 20min workout into an hour will be on the receiving end of a patented Enginegro head slap circa 2001.

I love your gym observation and enthusiastically concur.

I swim every day and lift twice a week and in the Navy the regulars call these types - tourists.

You usually see them right after New Year's Day and then a couple of weeks before swimsuit season polishing up their guns to impress the ladies - pitiful.

You only pay the rent on your body - you never really get to own it - so start paying and keep the payments coming!

Thanks for keeping all the posts coming LLPPs.  You guys make for good reading and laughing in a season of grey.

I thought I recognized her too and almost said something to that effect.  Fortunately I caught myself before I uttered something I would have to explain to Mrs. Lyco.  She already thinks I spend too much time in here and if she knew there were occasional hottie spottings - well, you know the rest.

Funny, she could be one of their sisters too.

Bobby had to replay in stealth mode as Mrs Bobby was lurking on the couch next to Bobby.  Fortunately, Mrs Bobby isn't as interested in football, and Bobby was able to intentionally replay the kickoff all the way back to the commercials while claiming to be fumbling with the remote.  Bobby then further covered his tracks by bitchin and moaning about how the Timewarner DVR box doesn't act like our Tivo box, and stop where it thinks you wanted to stop.

An Engineer asking for Technical Help?

Ok LL geeks. Gro has a big screen sony that lets you watch 2 channels side by side. Gro loved that option so much that he opted against digital cable because it won't work with a cable box (says so in the manual). Gro had to get the box in his new home because he wanted DVR and HDTV. Now Gro can no longer enjoy watching 2 football games at once or playing PS2 while watching 'The View'.

Gro could probably figure a way to get the split screen working again but will 1st ask the LLPP if anyone has had the same issue.

Nah dood, you are way off....Reg was only that angry back in his 5'9" 235lb frame benching 225 X 21 days.  Now, being only 205 lbs, I rarely raise my voice enough to talk on the phone.

Regs little bro...AKA EpPP, is one mild kat.  He could laugh off or ignore just about anything. 

Ps- do NOT touch that kids face.  I have seen him almost body slam an Ex for messing with his face.  Other than that...it is smooth sailing while pounding pitchers of frosty beverages and letting the hate roll off his back.

Yeah, Mrs. Lyco - and even after birthing two kids she is still a perfect size 6!  And she knows about the weak-side linebacker, smokes cigars, whitewater rafts, squats in the gym - with me spotting of course, and likes beer and football.

She just sometimes gets testy when I recognize that there are other members of her species roaming the planet.

Now if we can only clone a race of her?!
