I've often wished that the NFL divisions were decided like college conferences.  Teams really need to build their roster for their division anyway, so it would only seem fair.  Plus, how great would it be for a 6-10 team to make the playoffs because they swept their divisional games?
Check out the official card game of the AU Pep Band - Str8 Eight!

Agreed... my team (Cincy Bengals) went 6-0 in the division but are still 1 game away from clinching the division --- with a Baltimore loss or Cincy win.
Alot of people in Cincy made a big deal about winning the division when they finished with their last game against Cleveland a month ago --- because of the NFL way of counting games, they still aren't guaranteed to get in the playoffs, yet.  Plus, my personal feeling is the are too one-dimensional on offense to have much of a shot in the playoffs.  Palmer went for 95 yards in the air against the Vikings last weekend... and they were down big and needed to throw the ball.  The culprit being the OL can't pass block effectively (but are bulldozers in the running game) and outside of Ochocinco (C Henry getting hurt was huge), none of the receivers can create seperation.

The nice thing about d3 football is that when they say "student athlete" they aren't kidding, unlike many in division 1.

Re: LLPPFFL. So close, yet so far, LD (or should I say Andy feltersnatch).
Better luck next time, sir. :)

Had you won by 30 or 40, talking smack would be accepted.  But you won a high scoring shoot out.  Know your role.  Have some class.  I took every other teams' scores, averaged them together, and was still 33.44 points better.  U89 won with 66 for crying out loud.  Just wasn't meant to happen this year.

Situation, I almost never talk smack, so for one day, I did.

WTF is up with Chris Henry? You guys see that story?

Can't send a link. Crap.

A female friend who went to TMC with SF says she was with someone who knows Henrys brother.  They said he's passed away.  Just waiting on family to get there in Charlotte and then I guess the plug will be pulled.  Sad story.

The guy posing with $16 and a gun won't be much of a problem.  Probably just have to give him $20 bucks a month to impress him.

Kira & Jaxon's Dad

Leon Orr is a product of Gulf High School, here in New Port Richey FL.

Good kid but family is trying to pull him to the "Dark" side.  UF will be good for him, if he can keep himself clean.

Probably one of the most Athletic Big Men I have ever seen at the HS level.  Man among boys.  Played TE, OT, DT, and Kicker.

Broke his leg this year, recently had surgery, and is recovering now.  He is actually trying to graduate early so he can get to Gainsville in January and away from the negative influences local.
