It's raining non-stop since early morning here in Atlanta.  In fact, it's rained more here than England, I'm pretty sure, since I moved down this summer.

Yeah, looking like another 3 inches of rain here on the SC coast today to go with the 5 inches earlier this week.

StLarry's family is in Baltimore, and they are supposed to get a good 6-10 inches of snow in the next day or so.  It will only be worse in the Shenandoah region

ummm...fyi baltimore is about to be put under a blizzard warning for up to 20 inches of snow and 30-40mph winds...blizzard warnings from DC up thru baltimore out the entire length of long island now....they will have 6-10 inches on the ground by noon tomorrow w/ snow until sunday morning...

KS used to love going to Charleston for schools while in the Navy.  KS hated the drinking laws in SC though.  Are all the bars still closed from Midnight saturday to Midnight Sunday?

No, the bars are definitely open late Saturday night, and open back up Sunday.  SC also finally allows high gravity beer and free-pour liquor bottles at restaurants/bars.

Been to D.D. Peckers several times, pretty good place to grab a pbr or 12.

Weather and Conditions update from Salem, VA in the new installment of "Sideline Guy":

Enough of the weather talk.  Was there anything more disappointing than MTV blacking out the scene where Snooki gets knocked out?  From the preview, I thought she was the aggressor (not that it's ever right, of course, but we all want to see public executions whether we admit it or not), but that guy was a super drunk douche.  If the Situation were for real he would've handled that guy after he took the first couple of shots, not after taking the second round of shots.  Figure Vinny's probably the toughest of all of them, Paulie only punches guys who are already in headlocks and Ronnie too busy being a pussy over a 5 who I'm not sure would really get all that dirty (JWOWW, on the other hand, I suspect would do some things that violate human nature).

dlippiel

hmmmmmmmmmm 4 o'clock ::) As dlip waits for game time he is asking himself who he wants to win this very ****ing familiar match-up. Honestly he wishes both teams luck and an injury free game. Yet when looking at the history here with MUC having 10 NC's to U Dub Dub Dub Dub's 1, dlip must go with U Ruba Duba. **** just for the plain fact that dlip is looking for any new type of twist to this groundhog day ****ing championship.

Looks like a good decision not to head to Salem this year.. Can't believe all the snow down there.  Cincy got just a dusting today.

Dlip, SF is rooting for MUC because of all the adversity they have faced.  The Defensive player of the year (Millings) has been suspended, They lost their TB in Pancheck to an ACL tear, and Rocco shouldn't be playing BC of a concussion last week.  The game will be won or lost by MUCs ability to stop the run game of Whitewater.  True football game, played in extreme elements.  Reminds SF of a game his junior year in HS played in 13 inches of snow.  They didn't clear the field on that day in 1993, however!

StLarry - how about Villanova's winning the FCS championship?!

TGP heard that the VU coach was once the HC at SLU (about 25+ yrs ago), but interesting connection.
