dlip knows he is a day late and a dollar short on this topic but it needs to be addressed by dlip ASAP. As dlip sits here with his new child and his wife he is, as we speak, watching Jersey Shore for the first time. Some thoughts/reflection:

-dlip is stunned at the Italian Flag with the picture of Jersey in the middle painted on the side of the house...stunned...****ing stunned

-for the first time in his life dlip is ashamed to be an Italian American. He is disgusted that he has the same blood line as these mother****ing clowns

-dlip's daughter is never ****ing allowed to go near the Jersey shore in her life

-dlip cannot believe that these people are real and not claymation like Gumby or Mr. Bill

-dlip doesn't know whether he hates this show or is entertained by it. He guesses there are clowns in this world to make people laugh so maybe thats the rub? They are REALLY professional clowns here to make us all laugh

-+k to "the situation" for the profile name, dlip gets it and it's ****ing hilarious!

= ****ing hilarious

Dlip, Just for you, I repeat again for the 15th time, if they made this up no one would believe it. As to the Jersey Shore, it's hit or miss. I spent many years in Spring Lake/ Sea Girt area and loved it, great people, great bars, etc. Meanwhile, 15 minutes south, well, you've seen what that's like.

Jersey Shore's' Mike Sorrentino, aka 'The Situation' has stripper past: report

Friday, December 25th 2009, 2:26 PM

TMZ.com
Mike aka 'The Situation' loves to show off his abs on the 'Jersey Shore,' but he showed quite a bit more as a stripper in 2004.

Before Mike Sorrentino, a self-professed "guido" on MTV's "Jersey Shore," battled it out on the dance floor on national television, the 27-year-old tore it up on stage as a member of the "All America Male" exotic dancer group, reports TMZ.com.

Sorrentino, aka "The Situation," worked for the New York and New Jersey-based crew back in 2004. Apparently, fist pumping isn't this Staten Island native's only skill –- he used to give a "great lap dance," a source told the Web site.

Here's to hoping he'll show his skills on the controversial reality show.

Here's something for you guys to chew on if you have any expertise.  FR's walk-in bedroom closet had a major fail while he was on his way to Salem.  Specifically, one side of the minimalist plastic shelf/hanger bar came down completely, rendering one side of his closet DOA.

FR has always wanted to redo his closet for more functionality -- the closet is a decent size across and very deep -- but the width was obscured by poor planning by whomever installed it originally -- if you hung shirts on both sides, they would jut out too much for real walking space.  So, this is a good excuse to redo things.

Anyone know of any cheap but stylish/effective options, especially in the NYC area?  Does IKEA handle these types of things?  What would you recommend for him?  Thanks.

Home Depot and Lowes both have a very large selection of various closet accessories and configurations.  I would check them out.

I did the complete master out of those configurations.  They are pretty sweet, however, the cost adds up quickly!

The Parker House rules.

Finally, some wisdom from Iamhuge. I'd argue that back in the 90's, there was no better summer circuit than the beach, the Warren Hotel Pool Bar apres beach until 7:00, the Parker House until midnight, and then the Champagne Porch until 2:00 a.m. last call. Throw in some Rod's for some MILF/ DILF action, and a few trips to Belmar to BarA for some "Jersey Shore" type action to mix it up. Then repeat. The Sunday Night Parker House scene was just a bonus. Those were some good times, I've got a tear in my eye...

Dlipp,

Having spent most of his years in NJ after doing the Army brat thang, JT can certainly guide you around the guido beaches.  There are nice beaches to hang.  Also not all have the big hair, the bling, and IROCS.  JT can send you to the best Italian, bread, and pizza in the world. Also can take you around to nice families w/o all the phoniness.

However, in Jersey the mob guy pretty much act like their movie stereotypes. Can't move garbage, do waste removal, or start construction without them.
