Looks like I'm not betting the game -- line is -8 for the Colts.

82's humble prediction:  Colts 28  Jets 23.  Manning final drive TD to rip the J-E-T-S' hearts out.

Jets will cover and it will go over.

Jets need to win the turnover battle to have shot IMHO.  That will be hard to do with Manning.  They've got a punchers chance.

TGP guarantees the zebras will have a hand in ensuring an Indy win.

Perfect example was last week's game when somehow that final TD drive b/f half-time vs. Baltimore had a) b.s. "spearing" penalty on Lewis (replay shows he lead with his shoulder pad) and b) an 8-10 sec play that only ran 2 secs off the play clock allowing the colts to get the ball with :07 vs. :02 secs to run the final pass play.

if the clock ran as it should colts would have prob had to settle for the FG making baltimore roughly alive at 10-3 vs. 17-3 and done at the half.

Proof that emails are read, and no response is given.  Later ex-friend.

JT is already dreading the upcoming Super Bowl party at JT's sister's crib.  Back in college and and early 20's hanging out with those that cared more about the halftime show and the ads was fine.  High chance of getting laid post game.

JT's sis and hubby #2 live an hour and 15 minutes away in the sticks of NJ.  Plus, there is now a Brady Bunch mish mosh of people.  We've begged off the last couple of functions out there.  So we are pretty much stuck.

JT is just like his Dad.  He wants to watch the f*cking game.  Except for Dad, JT, and Bro it looks like it will be packed with pseudo fans.  MJT can hang... she's been around JT enough.  It looks like its going to be a lot of yammering and people walking in front of the TV.  Too much talking, not enough watching. Ugh!

And knowing sis, the food is going to suck and there won't be enough of it. JT has the opportunity to go to a nice small party with friends who know how to hang, but its looking like JT has to suck it up.

Hubby #2 thinks we don't like him.  Actually he's OK, its JT's sister that needs to be taken in small doses. If we blow this off, JT will have to suffer Mom's wrath.   And JT will most likely have to leave early... its looking like JT will be on press early the Monday after.

If the Jets make it, and JT has sit with these people, he's going to be pissed.

Any advice or is JT screwed... we've already played sick once in the Fall.

- rant over, and JT doesn't feel better.

No advice here.  I always stay home, invite some people, and make a sh!t ton of homemade crab rangoons.  Heavenly.

One Superbowl a decade is manageable.  Did one with hubby #1 in 2003.
