82 is looking forward to a 'Cuse v. UK rematch of the '96 National Championship game.  82 sees Wes Johnson as similar to John Wallace of the '96 Cuse squad putting this team on his back in the tourney.

Does the LLPP remember Wallace and Co. after beating Mississippi St in the semis chanting....."the Cuse is in the House oh My God, Oh my God....the Cuse is in the House, oh my God...."

Looks like another trip to the "rubber room", man, that place is getting crowded. "Horndog High" could be one of my favorite NY Paper names in a long time.

Another 'Horndog High' sex charge: Teacher Lisa Guttilla arrested for feeling up 14-year-old girl

The latest 'Horndog High' scandal

New shenanigans have come to light at James Madison High School, where two teachers were recently caught naked in a classroom and another was punished for getting too close to a student.

The latest scandal involves Madison High gym teacher Lisa Guttilla, 37, who was arrested Friday for feeling up a 14-year-old girl, police sources said.

The student attended private Poly Prep Country Day School, where Guttilla was a part-time volleyball coach.

The abuse came to light when the teen's mother started asking questions about a hickey on her neck - and she confessed to sexy sessions with Guttilla between Jan. 4 and 9.

A complaint filed in Brooklyn Criminal Court says the teacher did "touch, grab, squeeze and kiss the [girl] about the breast and buttock."

Guttilla was charged with sexual abuse and child endangerment and sent to the "rubber room" - a reassignment center for teachers under investigation.

"She is a teacher at Madison, and she has been reassigned," said Education Department spokeswoman Margie Feinberg.

The allegations against Guttilla are the latest to rock the Midwood high school where she worked.

In December, Madison foreign-language teachers Alini Brito and Cindy Mauro were found undressed in an empty classroom and sent to the rubber room.

Social studies teacher Allison Musacchio is under investigation for having an inappropriate relationship with a male Madison student.

And a teacher has accused Assistant Principal Michael Edelman of sexual harassment.

Horndog High.  That's great.  And don't get all excited and look for a great picture of Lisa Guttilla guys, you won't be impressed.  Trust me on this one.

SF would mash the two nakey teachers from the last "story" at that school.... why is that my teachers in HS got off on telling us we'd be failures rather than getting off on wanting us as students??

I hate Syracuse but remember that tourney well.  I thought Boheim did a great job coaching that year.  Clearly outmached talent wise by Kentucky and a few other teams along the way.  Hes a great coach.

When I was much younger, I loved the 'Cuse and hated Boeheim...thought he was an underacheiveing, whiny coach.  He really was with all the NBA talent he used to get in the mid-late '80's and early 90's.  Now, I think he is primarily an over acheiver.  He has squeezed way more orange juice out of the oranges of the past 10 years than most would have...  Although Carmelo was quite a nice Orange.

Warning...D3 football related post.

I just noticed that Bart is dropping CMU in 2011 and adding Widener.  That's pretty much a wash, but they're obviously keeping Dickinson as the opener (been doing that for about two decades now) and the away to SJF, don't know if that's a 1 and 1 or ongoing (CMU was four years, so my guess is it would be at least 4 years, but who knows).  I don't know if it's better or worse for Bart if the LL adds an 8th team.  It worked for them in 2007 when they got hot and made it at 8-2 (with the two losses being an OT loss on the road to playoff bound Dickinson and a last second loss to conference champ RPI and wins over Union, Alfred and CMU), but I don't know how that shakes out now.

Also, did part II of around the nation ever come out?

Interesting - but makes sense given the long haul to Pittsburgh (that said the trip to Philly is about the same distance wise).  Could have been an alumni based decision (i.e. more HWSers in the Philly area) but who knows.  Hard to figure out Hanna sometimes.

Regardless, as long as Bart continues to dick around with 9 game schedules they will need to either a) win the LL Pool A and/or b) only lose one game (LL or OOC).  Clearly no way a 7-2 gets you into the NCAA field anymore.

Not eveery day in the offseason, but thanks for the heads up.

RE Cuse:  Never liked them growing up in the southern tier, but have kind of gotten behind them a bit in the last 5 or so years.  In the 80's and even 90's people acted like they were so awesome where I grew up I developed the same attitued I did about the Yankees/Knicks/Giants when living in New York (e.g. contempt from enduring all the fair weathered arrogance).
