KS thought this was very interesting.  Possibly time for the NCAA to step in and reign in a few conferences?  Or possibly time for the NCAA to really consider a playoff before DI becomes a four conference division?

doesnt even hit on the biggest nugget....the research $$$. The big 10 schools get millions upon millions of dollars from the govt and corporate america to head up gigantic research projects. Its why these schools engineering and bio/chem departments have gotten very good w/ excellent teachers. The top teachers now head to these schools because thats where research grants and $$$ is going. big10 is looking for like minded schools w/ strong academics and can bring more reseach dollars from their part of the country. Big10 schools arent stupid they arent going to give any school at cut of the pie of $22 million without them bringing something to the table.

Unfortunately, I don't believe that there is any way that the NCAA could get involved in any potential conference realignments. The organization is just an association of generally like-minded schools anyway, and it seems unlikely that any of them would want to limit their own future opportunities to change affiliation if they felt it was in their best interests. Besides, can you imagine how fast the first lawsuit would be filed if the NCAA were to tell a school "sorry, we think everyone is better off if you stay where you are so we can't approve a move at this time"?

PBR, KS wants to know what you think of this Odrick kid that Miami drafted out of Penn State.  From what KS saw of him this past season he seems solid.

huge fan of odrick...big size and excellent quickness. he can play inside or out. he came to psu as a def. end but ended up moving inside and is a little over 300 lbs. his motor is always going and eventhough he was double teamed a lot this year he still dominated games. Plus he is a great kid off the field.

btw interesting little tid bit on delaware valley. just got the alumni book in hand and see the board of trustees is officially voting in a couple of weeks to move delaware valley up to university status from college. heard rumblings of this but now it is confirmed.

On another note Rothisburger's ass should be suspended if you ask dlip. Regardless of whether or not the rape took place (which dlip believes some type of sexual assault did take place but could be wrong) that ****in idiot continues to put himself in poor situations. He obviously isn't getting it and maybe he needs something to help him out some more. dlip heard he road his motorcycle to the club without a helmet that night as well...just kidding .
