just got my kickoff today ( www.d3football.com/kickoff )

Among the interesting things, I read Bethany has a QB in camp.. former Massachusetts High School Gatorade Player of the Year and accused girlfriend man-handler, Matt Grimard is competing for the starting postion.

My prediction is he will be out of school within a month.  The kid is a train wreck and can't get his sh!t together.  And he's about 280lbs now.  Hopefully he does well, i just don't see it happening.

Agree with your prediction. Personally could care less if he does well at QB. I do hope, however, that he stops acting like a gorilla, and more like a human being...

Nope - Hobart pretty much has had Orange helmets since way back in the day.  The Rev was talking about purple jerseys and or pants (neither of which TGP thinks Hobart has ever sported).

Pep faintly remembers watching the Statesmen and Saxons square off at the misplaced Boswell Field, likely in the '60s, when the home team was sporting purple pants and what appeared to be very close to gold, while the visitors were wearing practically identical colors, flip-flopped. And, if Pep's fading memory serves him at all, both teams probably had white helmets(?), if not both purple.

Pep found it difficult to discern who was going where once the bodies started flying.

Hobart opens camp, new field

New unis too:

Nice unis, but Rev is still pushing for the return of purple, as is proper.

BTW, WTF is up with Finger Lakes Times charging for their website?  Who are they kidding?

Hey Rev - the FLT article has been re-published on the hws website (see link below):
