I rarely make fun of typos,

As well you shouldn't.

But this tenor isn't going anywhere near Albany. :)

I usually don't. But I had to take the quasi-homonym for the joke.

For most of UAlbany's tenor they competed on the D3 level and usually the recruits they went for did not have the academic records to get into Union and/or RPI so it was a different type of kid they recruited (of course this was not always the case). Now they can attract a higher academic type who is also a solid athlete because of the step up in divison. That student athlete who in the past opted for the higher level (or higher reputed) academic institution now opts for the higher division in football. Plus even if they are not offered a scholarship (full or partial) the tuition is so much lower. Just some thoughts.

I rarely make fun of typos, but this one made me laugh. I was wondering why you are talking about Albany's tenor, as opposed to its sopranos, altos, and basses. (Dlip, i'm just teasing you a bit)

Well deserved dew well deserved  ;) And imagine dlip teaches kids  :D

dlip teaches?  Has dlip been granted tenor?   :D

KS used to be a tenor, whiskey and cigars have turned him to a baritone.

A squeeze of the twig and berries is worth at least an octave.

Bart fans, nice find with Webb.  The kid is special! 100yds rushing and receiving tonight with both of Hobart's TDs.

He's going to lead Hobart to a couple NCAA appearances and rewrite your record books!

Good luck the rest of the season Bart!

I know.  Im thinking the melon is softer than you would think and bust have hit her in the forehead and not the face as much.

Thx - TGP won't hold the fact Fisher "ruined" Hobart's homecoming against ya ;)

Seriously, the Cards looked very good, but were given a lot of opportunities (which to their credit they took advantage of) to blow the game open.

The Statesmen couldn't afford to make any mistakes and they had at least 4 huge ones in the first half (e.g., missed FG, fumble inside their own 45, punt blocked inside own 45 and vella overthrowing on 4th down on the sjf 25 yard line).

That said, Fisher definitely looked like a Top 25 team and not surprised they are there this Monday.  Good news for Hobart is that they can focus on the LL starting with SLU this weekend.
