Lost in all this was Utica's smoking of St. Lawrence.

Let's see if I have this right:

Ithaca beats St.L.
Ithaca beats Union.
Norwich beats St. L.
St. L beats Hobart.
Hobart beats Union.
Utica beats St. L.

Fun!

You guys should have taken the drive out to Geneva.  You missed what may have been one of the most exciting games of the decade.  That is no exagerration.  There better be a killer write-up about it in Around the Region, if not in Around the Nation.

That's the plan ;)

I was going to suggest you write about SJF putting a beating on Ithaca...

However we've all read that story before...

*** Update: gro has gone off the deep end in wiscky land looking for reg's house...

Wausau, Wis. (AP) -- Wausau rescued and arrested a drunken
man who plunged into the Wisconsin River while chasing a
one-legged goose. The 40-year-old Wausau man told officers he
wanted to catch the bird and roast it. He said he took off his
shirt and shoes Thursday afternoon and jumped into the frigid
water.
Authorities said he was overcome by the cold water and had
to be rescued by firefighters. Police said the man had been
drinking heavily before the stunt.
The man was arrested on an outstanding warrant for bail
jumping.
Witness Sergio Lopez works by the river. He said he often
sees people jump in the water during hot summer days but rarely
in October.
Police told the Wausau Daily Herald that as far as they
know, the goose is still on the loose.

I'm all for Boise State getting a chance and all... But this is kind of crazy -- Ohio State, #1 in the human polls, is #5 in the projected BCS Standings.  Listen to the clip here, as well, where FCS Delaware is apparently ahead of Ohio State when FCS teams are included in one of the computer rankings.  WTF?!

I think it's great!  You know why?  Because the BCS is f'ing BS, and the more f'd up things are, the worse they look and i'm all for it.

Yea I never thought of it that way.  I hope Boise State beats Northern Illinois in the national championship game.

Holla.

PS, can we come back? I don't like it in the Centennial. They're not very friendly.  :(

I think I'm the one being referred to here.... and I wasn't trying to talk trash, just pointing out the mixed signals that all St. L's results give. I'm not holding Ithaca's win over them or Union as anything significant. I'm no Bombers798891, but I'm no Bomber-blind-worshipper either :).

Fair enough. +K for the mistake (I didn't -K before). While we're on the point, don't limit it to SLU, the whole damn LL is full of mixed signals. Hell, this may be like the NFC West, we may have a LL winner with a .500 record.
