LD11 thinks BPort is a moron.  But he thinks he is probably pretty cool too.

LD11 is out for the remainder of the day.  My secretary will be taking messages.  I got beers to drink down at a little beach house bash.  I'm out.

GO PATS!!!

'gro

if the pats win expect some drunk posts from LD11 he's already getting sized up for a wedding dress so he can marry Tom Brady.

bport agrees that there were some very bad calls in the game....bport thinks there was some home cooking.

Jonny Utah

man what a game.  Is that overturned INT call the worst youve ever seen?  Dam that palumalu kid is good.

Refs almost blew their second game of the weekend.  What a crock of ****.  LD11 had Pitt and the under.  Was sweating a bit at the end.

CHI -2.5 with Over 31 on this one.

Jonny Utah

Good call on the under LD,  I took Carolina +3 early in the week.  They just looked too good against the giants last week.

Seattle and Pittsburgh also came through for me and I dont care who their playing, as long as Brady is the qb of the Patriots, you simply cant bet against them.

I also teased Pitt +16.5 and the Panthers +10.

NFL: PLEASE get a medical plan that includes vision for your referees

What is up with Chicago just throwing the ball up for grabs?  And how is Justin Gage a starting receiver for ANY team in the NFL.  He is horrible.

Bring Kyle Orton back!

Watching the games today I realized that I sure miss the Eagles.

That said, both games today were nail-biters with the team that was outplayed in it until the bitter end.

All week long on ESPN XM Radio, Eric Casillias kept raving about how the Patriots and Colts were the real Super Bowl.   That next week the two of them were going to decide things.  HA! I cannot wait to hear that chump eat his words - too bad someone cannot call in and play him one of his tapes.

I am happy for Jerome Bettis that his fumble did not hurt his team.  He has been a class act all along and to end a Hall of Fame career by costing your team a playoff game - assuming Indy wins the game, of course - would be a tough nut to chew on the rest of your days - even if you have one of those awful, Howard Cosell look alike sports coats to wear they give you upon induction at Canton.  They must have borrowed the idea from Lindsey Nelson who used to wear plaid!

LD11 - remember, there is "shrinkage" - "like a frightened turtle."

He also wears #12... as in 12 Guage... what is this 1992?

How is it that Gro can take 1 day off from work (Friday) and come in Monday with 3 days worth of things to catch up on? This is not fair, Gro's tossing the red flag on to the field.

Jonny Utah

Gro, thats not a challangable call.  But let me ask you this....do you keep your red flag in your back pocket like Bill Cowher? or do you keep it tucked into a knee high tube sock like Bill Belecheck does?

Im thinkin the back pocket is easier to get to, but its also easier to lose, like if you had to blow your nose, and you reach into your back pocket for your hankerchief to blow it and the red flag accidently falls out.  Now Im not a hankerchief guy but I kind of get a feeling that belechek might be, hence the red flag in the sock......

Garnet

Garnet's random pic of the day.

Man, when I saw Bettis fumble and Nick Harper pick it up, I was like holy $HIT! I was hoping Harper would score, one playoff game does not a hall-of-fame career make, as Bettis is definitely a hall-of-fame back.

I noticed belecheck stuffing the red flag in his sock during the pats game... glad to hear someone else notices random things like Gro does.

Crazy calls by the refs all weekend, nothing tops the zebras calling that bears run a touchdown where the RB was at least a yard short and threw the ball at the pylon.

p.s. Pylon, that might be a good name for a child. Gro has dibs on Pylon.
