St. Lawrence University to Mount Union College:  488 miles (Google Maps)

Limit for NCAA-paid Flights:  500 miles.

Ouch.

On the NCAA official mileage chart:

From: ST. LAWRENCE UNIVERSITY
To: MOUNT UNION COLLEGE
Miles: 492.0

For some reason, it's 522 miles the other direction.

Not gonna lie... I got lost leaving Alliance, OH a few years ago.  Maybe it took that into account :)

Hey everyone!  Because Frank has really made me see the light, I am a changed person and will no longer give any criticism in a negative way.  The sun came up through my bedroom window this morning and a unicorn was licking my face, and I just knew it was time to change.  Everyone have a WONDERFUL day and bless your dear hearts!!!

Whaaatt? Read my post. I responded to Reg about his lumping all Union fans together. 2, 6, I don't know who said what, or who's in the booth. Don't care, to be honest. Don't even know what you're talking about, or the drama you always manage to create in these situations. Don't care about that either.

Get over yourself. Seriously. Actually, I should scold myself for getting into a debate with someone with the temperament of a teenage girl.

No, you responded by differentiating the broadcasters' opinions from yours after he tooled on the broadcasters for discussing another blatant officiating error.  You acted like the broadcasters were justifying Union errors -- and that's pretty irresponsible on your part.  That's my point.

But I didn't listen to your broadcast. I happen to have a life. I was simply stating not to lump all Union fans together. Not that hard to figure out. Irresponsible? By having an opinion? You really are a clown.

And, oh, by the way, acknowledging that your a pompous ass doesn't justify it. Careful Francis, you get any more worked up about this and you may end up tearing your labia...

So you edited that post and still left in the last part?

It's been hard to decide where to draw the line on this conversation that has now gone over the line on both sides. Pretty embarrassing.

Does that mean they have to drive there, but will be flown home?! ;D

I prefer the chapped off, sarcastic, LD. The LLPP won't be the same.

Guys (Lew and Frank) let's simmer and go easy. You both are very knowledgeable and great for this thread, and both have taught dlip a ton. Somewhere in between is probably an appropriate place regarding the amount of positive vs constructive criticism regarding ones team. It's a very tough call for a fan. Like dlip has mentioned before many of us come from great traditions and success so it is very troubling and disturbing when our teams underachieve or don't produce like we expect them to.

dlip probably shouldn't have mentioned the RPI fan thing anyway it just pissed him off and he is sure that happens alot. The most important thing to remember is that that faction of fan is the smallest percetage of the overall fan base. Plus they are college kids drinking and ****ing aruond. dlip sure as hell can't say he never did something rude to an undeserving party once or twice in college. He probably shouldn't have thrown the stone.

In regards to the lack of success vs high expectations and how to handle them on here dlip constantly struggles with what is apporpriate, too negative or unrealistically positive. Just a tough call but dlip hopes you guys can chill and resume normal posting activity here. Like dlip said, you both are great on here and have taught dlip so much.

Bless your dear heart dlip, but I am seriously contemplating taking an extended leave of absence.  Frank makes jabs all week leading up to the game, then acts like a big cry baby over some sarcastic comments and other's criticism of their broadcast.  A guy who can dish it out, but whines if someone gives it back.  Reminds me of the kid that used to invite everyone over to play tag football in grade school, then once one thing didn't go his way told everyone to get out of his yard.  I've just had enough of it, and I may have to take the high road on this one.  We'll see.  Maybe HollaDawg, Gro, and I can all get together for some egg rolls and hot pockets to discuss football and debauchery.

Speaking of Hot Pockets, has anybody tried the Hot Pockets breakfast pockets?  KS finds them to be a good quick tasty breakfast after drinking.
