And you're geting married because?...

+K on the news

With all due respect to my buddy Rev, if you saw what the Rev looked like, and compared that to his younger, hot asian fiance' you would understand....

I concur with TGP's finding.  The Rev is nothing to write home about and I'm surpised to still be alive sometimes.  My fiancee is very fit.  The 16 year age gap is very good to me.

Maligayang bati sa iyong kasal

Is that tagalog or korean for "Smart move, you lucky dog?"

Go Pats.

Tagalog for "Congratulations on your engagement/wedding"

Still working on the language.  Lot of Spanish words in the language but mixed with a lot of pre-Spanish occupation native language.

Judging by the pics, she isn't Korean, and Rev last mentioned a Filipina.  Sometimes the Indonesian gals can throw me.  They quite often look like Filipinas.

Rev should be very happy.  They make very good partners.

She is a Filipina and, yes, the Rev is on cloud 9 to say the least....

If you are looking for something a little more classy, try the Troy Pub and Brewery.  Also downtown.  Good beers, good food, ugly people.

Hey, now!  That's where I ate and drank before and after the Shoes Game this year!  Oh, wait, maybe you're right then...

Grew up on Dandy Don on MNF.  He will be missed. He was a very underrated QB in the NFL.

I'm up to Taglish.  Since her family speaks mostly Taglish here in New Jersey, I haven't progressed beyond a certain point.  Learn a new word here and there.

Gonna have to hit the Rosetta Stone and get serious at some point before my first visit to the homeland.... maybe in 2011 or 12.

Here's a bit of Americana -- this is back when Keith Jackson was the original PbP guy.  This is the first drive of the very first ABC Monday Night Football game in 1970 (CBS broadcast a test Monday night game in 1969, so I chose my words wisely there).  Dandy Don won't be heard until deep into the clip:

AHHHHHH....

A sweet 'bye' in the first round of of the LLPP Fantasy Football League.

I'm watching Vikes vs. Giants.  Favre is out, but he ain't wearing a headset and helping out.  He's just ambling around the sidelines.

He hasn't been in this position in, say, 279 games...he really doesn't know what to do with himself!

Actually, 297.  Considering the sports and the positions, to me that is MORE impressive than Gehrig/Ripken.

I just remember when Favre said it wasn't his job to help Aaron Rodgers.  I've always been Favre fan, just disappointed in his lack of class at times.

Doid23

Wow. 1992. That's just crazy.

I've soured on Favre due to the past 4 years (including JT's comment on Rodgers), but you've just got to appreciate how ridiculous that streak is.
