Well done, but Gonzo could be the one to get addicted to Ring Dings.

BTW, Doid....weren't you a big fan of the Ring Ding back in the late 80's??

Late 80's, 70's, 90's, 2000's, a big fan always. I mean, what's not to like about the Ring Ding?

Not to brag, but I consider myself somewhat of an expert on the entire family of Drake's brand snack cakes. Actually partial to Yodel's myself, never  did like the Devil Dogs, and the Yankee Doodles were a poor man's Hostess Cupcake. Dug the Coffee Cake, but couldn't stand the Funny Bones. And wouldn't waste the time reviewing the knock offs (Ho Ho's, Ding Dong's, etc.), just meek substitutes

You don't get to be 305 lbs eating salads, now do you?

Ring Dings were fantastic.....the much under-appreciated Swiss Roll was dope also.

A little over the top, certainly, but I'm pretty sure the 57 year old got the message.

German man castrates teenage daughter's 57-year-old boyfriend

An enraged father who disapproved of his daughter's older boyfriend went to his home and castrated him with a bread knife.
Helmut Seifert, 47, an ethnic German originally from Russia, was enraged when he heard his 17-year-old daughter was having a relationship with Phillip Genscher, 57.
He went to police in the town of Bielefeld where he lives but officers said they were powerless to intervene.
"The man then recruited two work colleagues at his factory and then went to the house of the victim," said police.
"The man was forced to remove his trousers and, fully conscious, he was castrated. The severed testicles were taken away by the perpetrator."
The man was close to bleeding to death but managed to call police. His life was saved but he remains a eunuch for life.
Seifert pleaded guilty and will be on trial for attempted murder next year. But he has remained silent on who his accomplices were.
He told police: "I received a phone call anonymously that my daughter was involved with a guy 40 years older than her. You said you couldn't stop him – so I did.

"I saw it as my duty as a father."

As the father of a young girl this story gives dlip hope. Multiply that by 20 if Seifert gets off without jail time.  :D

Best line of the article.

If JT has a daughter.  He'll just mention to any boy that he has no problem going back to jail.

Fixed. I will say, they just aren't the same without the foil wrapper.

Couldn't tell the difference between Yodel's and Ho Ho's.  Back in the day Yodel's came two to a pack, Ho Ho's three to a pack for the same price.  JT went for the clear bargain and extra sugar.

Ever have a gourmet ring ding?  Gotta ask MJT where we were.  Some restaurant in central West Jersey out RT 78 near the PA border a few years ago.  Haven't found them anywhere else... keep looking.

The chef made his own dessert ring dings.  They were sooooo good.  Spent almost $60 to take an extra 1/2 dozen home.  Should have bought a dozen. I've never bought extra dessert before.  That should tell you something.

Sounds like either the Clinton Point Diner or the Coach House.

I suppose you could, but I shudder to think how much lettuce would have to be consumed.

KS buried his mom today next to his dad.  KS is feeling worn out and empty after the last couple of weeks and the last year or so.  The Stalkerette said two very profound things for a nine year old.  The first was a day or so before mom died.  The Stalkerette said she wished she had a rewind button so she could go back and teach her grandma that smoking is bad for your health.  The other was today after the funeral, MKS asked her if she was sad and the Stalkerette said no, not really.  MKS then asked if she was happy and she said yes, sort of.  Why are you happy?  Because Grandma is safe now and won't fall down and hurt herself anymore trying to walk.

Sorry to hear that KS.  Thoughts and prayers out to your family.

Condolences to you and your family.  Stalkerette is a very savvy and caring young woman.  Hopefully, she will help you through it.  She is quite strong.
