TGP feels the same about the CT/NE....just insert CA for TX (except for the cheap cost of living and no state income tax) and I am basically of the same mind.

As an aside TGP's old boss broached the question if I'd be interested in working in the Dallas area.  Given the aforementioned, a move would probably equate to a 30-50% increase in pay just on the savings of housing and tax alone ;)

I'm looking to leave NJ in few years... sooner??  I hate snow. I hate the cold. I don't ski.  The tax burden is insane.  I'm looking at Texas and Florida.

KS is with JT, looking to stay in NJ maybe 10 more years until Stalkerette graduates HS.  Then KS is looking at TN or TX.

KS is watching MLB network and they are showing the 20 greatest games, game number 11.  It is the Bucky Dent game.  Bob Costas is sitting with Lou Pinnella and Dent and they are using both the Yankees play by play with the Scooter and Frank Messier and the Sox with Dick Stockton and Ken Harrellson.  Very good and great to hear the Scooter.

As if it wasn't bad enough that the "Best Team (N)Ever" is 2-9, now TGP has to be reminded about Bucky F-ing Dent?!??!?!

TGP takes some (really not much, but it's better than nothing) solace that at least the Sox are 2-1 vs. the Yanks so far this season....

I'll remind you of this post when Hobart goes 2-6 or 2-7 with wins just against RPI and Union ;)

But of course.  BTW - you know that Hobart can't go 2-7 in 2011.... (bc they only have 8 Bucky f-ing Dent games).

I'm holding out hope that Wesley kidnaps the team in September and forces them to play... Or shows up as Cornell's B-Team during the would-be "scrimmage" in the middle of a season :)

Well, kidnappers would fit the profile of at least a few of the "student-athletes" that seem to be on that team

In Wesley's defense, Coach Drass immediately suspended the players involved and has attempted to clean up the image of the team.  It was definitely a black eye, but I don't believe the team is on probation currently...

Well played counselor...TGP is still trying to forget (in denial?) that Hobart Football is in fact on probation for the next three years

Just goes to show you who the real "badazzes" of the LL truly are ;)
