Nice performance by Hobart today, really changing up the offense.  Bring on Heidelberg.  Now let's go East, get em Cortland!

Uh, Heidelberg is losing in the 4th quarter.

In fact now it's 45-31 Wittenberg.

Bartman

Bring on Wittenberg. Go Statesmen.  :)

Dlip's calling it, Cortland gets ****in spanked next week like an abandoned child in an orphanage.

Congrats to Hobart on the great 2nd half adjustment and nice victory over what looked like a very good W&L team. Great season W&L you played very hard today.

Congrats also to Framingham for playing their hearts out this afternoon. Let's go pumpkinheads!

Shiznit also some congrats in order for the Pride of Springfield and LL Rookie of the Year Jonathan Marrero in their ECAC win over Alfred. Marrerro is no joke. We have watched this kid grow up this season before our very eyes. Kid is gonna be a good one. If Delong can get that Defense going and get some more support around Marrero, Springfield might be quite good the next few years.

Nice win by Widener as well today. Also dlip was impressed with Rowan rookie transfer QB getting his first start ever today. Maybe it was the profs D that kept it close but dlip thinks Pat Guru Colemans thoughts on the Gulls is accurate. They just don't seem to have the punch and overall offensive strength of last season.

Congrats to Hobart. The generals gave it a good try but just did not have the horses to match up

Bartman

Congratulations to Springfield on finishing the season with strength with dominant win over Alfred and showing that LL has depth. I am sure they could have done well in first round of NCAA if given a chance, but one loss too many this year.
Great game coming up for Hobart against Wittenberg. Need to show East doubters that we can move to the next level . Hobart ranking this year is based on strong showing against Wesley last year, plus the concentration to not let up in any one game this season (11-0, wow!). But there are still doubters. Wittenberg is a very strong team(Hiedelberg comeback was awesome) and passing game looks impressive, so Hobart DLine needs to apply pressure before Florence gets too much time. Heard Witt running back got banged up in last game?? Hobart will need to control ball with solid running game(again),as weather may be wet for Saturday( 50% chance of wintery mix in the 30's). This will be the team's biggest test so far, and could be a classic "won in the trenches" and "don't turn it over" game. This is huge for Hobart program. One game at a time. Go Bart!

Yeah, I hadn't checked the score since half.  I obviously stand corrected.  What a comeback by Wittenberg.  A battle of Statesmen and Student Princes just wouldn't have worked anyway.  Go to see a football game and you might have a fencing competition or a joust break out.  Dlip, you are probably right about Cortland, but I hope they give em a run like Hobart did last year.  Gonna be interesting.  I can't wait for Saturday already!

dlip hopes he is wrong man believe him. He would love to see Cortland take out Wesley. You never know and Cortland has at times this season shown the ability to play at a very high level. We shall see. dlip is a big Red Dragons fan this weekend!

Just tweeted the same thing.  Nice to see the LL getting some recognition on the national stage.

Can't wait until tomorrow's Witt vs. Bart game.  Bulletin board material is already up tonight and a snow storm could / will make this into a potential snow bowl.
