2013 Union Dutchmen Roster is up: http://www.unionathletics.com/roster.aspx?path=football&

Also look for a Utica/Union pregame write up on dlipthedutchmen this week. It'll be out by Friday morning...hopefully (it's really up to dlip's daughters Sophia and Olivia).

Was this English?
The views expressed in the above post do not represent the views of St. John Fisher College, their athletic department, their coaching staff or their players. I am an over zealous antagonist that does not have any current connection to the institution I attended.

Nice job.  This game will be a good litmus test for both squads.  Also curious to see how Alfred and RPI match up.  Those and the Secretary's Cup and Woo rivalry game btw MMA-CGA and WPI-WooState are the most interesting of the wkd for LL fans.

For those you haven't seen this Hobart highlight video, it's worth a look.  It was produced by Max Janoff, an injured SR OL.  He may have a future career at ESPN producing FB vids:

Thank you very much! dlip hates to say it but he thinks this is going to be a very tough game for RPI. dlip has a feeling they are going to get their barn doors blown off by the Saxons. Hopefully dlip is way off here and the Engineers take it to Alfred. Is RPI's starting QB O.K.? dlip knows the back up stepped in and did O.K. last week against what dlip feels is still not a very good Norwich squad. HUGE games for WPI and MMA. dlip was very down on WPI last season but really hopes they can bounce back and avenge last season's loss to WOOOOOOOster State. If Grasis has a big game and Antoupoulos stays away from the mistakes we may see a big win here for sure. As far as MMA goes dlip thinks they have some real early momentum going after last week. Let's hope MMA runs rampant in winning fashion against our former league member. dlip feels the LL needs these the wins to continue to prove our worth as a solid conference nationally. There is no question to dlip last week was a great start. dlip is also really pulling for SLU this weekend. He would LOVE to see the Saints get another OOC W.

As far as Union/Utica goes it should be a battle. dlip really wants to give this D time to mature and thinks they will need it. With that being said he thinks if the expectation on them is not all that high they may just surprise us all. dlip loves their athleticism and talent. Like dlip said on his blog the Union O will need some sustained drives and IDHO must dominate TOP. dlip can't wait to hit the road Saturday afternoon, eat with some great people and go see the U kickoff that night. Let's go Union!

Coach Isernia indicated both QBs, McGylnn and Maynard will be ready to go this wkd in our interview from last Sunday's show.

LewDogg's BOLD predictions are back...

St. John Fisher - 28
Washington & Jefferson - 10
I've never thought much of W&J and I have a feeling Fisher might be dominant this year.

Buffalo St. - 38
Brockport St. - 31
Most interesting game of the weekend.  These 2 teams have been one in the same for years.  This should separate them a bit.

Salisbury - 14
Wesley - 42
I'm predicting a down year for Salisbury, and by down, I mean they won't win the E8.

Utica - 28
Union - 13
I think I am higher on Utica than a lot of people.  Should be a good test to see where both are.

Rowan - 35
Framingham St. - 20
I hope i'm wrong here and Rowan wins by 70.  But they probably won't.

Alfred - 17
RPI - 21
Intriguing matchup.  RPI with a new coach, new triple option offense, and one ugly game under their belt.  I think RPI will be good at some point.  Alfred is playing their first game so i'm predicting RPI to be just a little better today.

Salve Regina - 24
Montclair St. - 20
Salve got knocked back in the crappy conferences conversation because of Framingham and Bridgewater last year.  To me, they are still the only NEFC/ECFC/MASCAC team I would trust in a big game at this point and we know they can beat Montclair.  I think they'll do it again.

Go forth, wreak havoc.  And dudes, don't forget your helmets.

Good stuff, LD.

I came here to lament WPI's one point loss to Worchester State. Not that I'm really a WPI fan, but all other things being equal, I want LL to win OOC games. One point! Damn.

Rev -

Followed the game last night and tweeted updates on our@ItHuddLLe handle.  A true stomach-punch type of loss.  End of the day, WPIs bend but don't break D finally snapped.  4 Engineer turn overs we killer, especially the INT for a touchback by JA with under 3 mins to play.

Hoping for better luck for LL squads today.  Like SC, UofR and MMA to win big.  Toss ups are RPI, SLU and Union.
