SLU up 32-15 on WPI with about 8 minutes left in the game.  SLU QB has thrown for 4 TDs
St. Lawrence University - 2010 LL Champs

Nice game for Zane Fish.  Have to say I thought SLU would struggle w/o Lefflbine today, but clearly Fish was up for it.

RPI just scored again, they'll beat MMA today.  Impressive win for the Engineers, 28-13, barring a last minute, garbage time TD.

I'd like to congratulate Union on putting their starting O back in inside of 1 min at 41-13 to get that last score against Hobart's 3rd/4th string D.  Nice job, Coach Audino should pay hi self on the back for his management of this game.

It's a wrap now 41-20 Hobart.  Great win by Alfred.  Makes the RPI upset look better for the lL.  If UC can beat SJF, maybe a 7-1 MMA can pull off a pool C.  Having watched every Hobart game to date (w SLU and Roch left), I still think they are definitely the 2nd best team in the LL.
Not sure what Pumkinattack was seeing that made him think that Union had put the starters back in the game in the last minute.  The QB #4 Geller is at best the 3rd stringer as are rbs #23 Pierre and #36Carn.  Wrs #84 Callahan and #87 Mosley are back-ups to the back-ups.  I admit that the TD scorer #5 Tosin Kazeem is listed as a starter but he's only about #5 in the receiver pecking order ( last year he was the KICKER)!  Check out the game play by play.  I think an apology is in order.

There's no apology in order.  unions team behaved abhor entry all day.  I've posted that I don't think that an HC should be fired on W/L alone, but I think if the way Unions team behaved today is in any way the responsibility of the coach then I do think Audinos work needs to be reviewed by the administration.

We got into a fight with union on their field in 1998 after a close game, but that was a tough, heated mess.  This was different all day.  Feel free to defend the Union team, and their leader as much as you want, but I've lost all respect for Audino after today.

Pa you are a ****ing idiot. Why don't you just shut the **** up.

Well the big question is whether or not Ali Marpet had a good game.  Sounds like he did.

dlippiel

Dlip has made mistakes on here and has felt that he has some positions on certain issues that may not have been the most thought out however he has never seen something as blantently stupid as pa's bull**** post about the starters. Congrats to Hobart on the win and the best of luck going forward. Dlip will be pulling for you come playoff time. Webb is just nasty! LL offensive player of the year hands down.

Marpet is a good player in Dlip's opinion. Kid is solid.

Dlip, how would you stack up Webb compared to Arcadiano or other top backs you have seen?

pumkinattack

Yes, as someone whom played in this series for a number of years ill **** GE f up.  Audino deserves to go.  I don't I've a sh*t abot karma, but that was beyond respectful.  Union was totally classless all day.  Enjoy 2-6. While your boys chirp, talk sh*t and take cheap shots 20-30 seconds after the whistle was blown.

I hope Mike Hanna has the balls to talk to he league about how ridiculous this game was.  There was 18-21yr olds health at risk and they were a joke.  So go ahead a tell me to shut the fu** up while your boys didn't care if hey injure (only term) Hobart players with the implicit advocation of the officials.  Forget W/L, how would if one of those non-call late hot or cheap shots ended up in a neck injury?

pumkinattack

I've watched every Hibart game all year and every team has brought their best, whih I appreciate, but this was bulls**t.  Go ahead and defend Audino and your boys, I don't care.  What u care about is Hinart and he healthy of my bits, but it's hard when it's at risk by people who know they are losing, don't care and have know problem taking cheap shots after
The whistle.

That isn't how it was when in played.  We may have not has as much success back then, but I rarely felt like any of our health was at risk by dirty play back then.

dlippiel

Wow we must have watched two completely different games. Dlip should not have called you an idiot. You have a right to post your thoughts without being called that. However he cannot emphasize how far off he believes you are here. Good luck to Bart on the remainder of the season.

As far as talent goes Dlip thinks he is right there with almost any. He just seems to do everything well. He can bring power, speed, quickness, and as my friend Tom said today he just does not go down on first contact. Dlip honestly feels that if this kid played four quarters of football every game his numbers would be absolutely ridiculous. Dlip would put him there with Tom A, Mark Robinson (SJF) and others. In some ways Dlip wishes he ran this well last season (and we know he ran damn well last year) because Dlip thinks Hobart was quite a bit. Better last season and if he was in this form they would have been even better than they were. Bottom line; he's top level.

PA, I hate Audino as much as anyone, but are you sh!tfaced?  Your posts are borderline unreadable due to your spelling and grammar issues. Not sure if you are just overly fired up or drunk and spouting off like a lunatic. +k btw....
